「Our stay was absolutely lovely. The cabin was clean and quaint and homey. It has a rustic feel, which I love. There were comfy couches with throw pillows and blankets to curl up on. The bed was comfortable and I loved the sheets!!! Given it was February when we stayed, we did walk across the road and down to the beach but didn't spend any time on the water. 「I chose to stay despite an emergency power outage and was pleased the host was agreeable, as some would not be. I brought extra preparations for the stay and had a comfortable night. I was pleased to see that if I had needed to cook (I was as in town for a dinner), there was a propane bbq on the patio, equipped with propane tanks and utensils! "As a continental breakfast, the variety was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the hotel really needs a better chef—the potatoes were mushy and burnt, sausages took 30 minutes to come out, the eggs were overcooked, and the toaster setting was too long, leaving the bread burnt. The room itself was decent, but check-in was a nightmare. We waited nearly an hour because of poor communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA. Even though we had already paid, the hotel almost charged us again. Too many issues overall. The only real highlight was the swimming pool, which our child absolutely loved"
