Hard to navigate where the unit is in the winter since it is dark by 5pm. Needs a more descriptive check in instructions for the sake of checking in when it is night time. “The views were definitely as described -- gorgeous, beautiful sunsets. However, be warned that the road and driveway up to these stunning views is quite windy and steep. Upon arrival, we changed our plans for going out at night and cooked all of the nights. That slight alteration did not affect our stay--actually enhanced our use of the property. Definitely enjoyed the Carmel Valley area and will be returning again soon. Thanks for sharing your space with our family!”

“Overall was a good weekend. The views were stunning and property itself is great. There were a few challenges - 1 there was dead mouse in the middle of one of the guest bedrooms upon check in. This indicated to us that the house hadn’t been cleaned recently. 2 - the WiFi didn’t work at all on our first day. 3 - there is a guest house on the property that was also rented to other tenants. This was not advertised anywhere. The other tenants did not know that we had a dog and left the gate wide……
