Whether enjoying a coffee or drinks and barbecuing from the deck, watching a movie on the big screen with the Marshall speaker, playing pool or poker in the loft or taking a dive a dive in the pool and catching some vitamin D, this home is great for entertainment and to unwind while you enjoy the serene Carmel Valley views of endless mountains and trees.

    Off the beaten path, tucked in the Carmel Valley Mountains. 4000 sq ft. home with 25' ceilings, 4 en-suite bedrooms and an abundance of peaceful indoor/outdoor spaces to relax. Beautiful views can be enjoyed from multiple patios and decks which overlook the pool.

    Be prepared to enjoy a beautiful drive through the Carmel-Valley vineyards as you escape to this mountain paradise which is surrounded by mountains and trees in the heart of Los Padres National Forest.

    Enjoy the view from one of the decks. This space is great for a quiet weekend away from the city. You can explore Carmel Valley, Monterey and Big Sur, or simply enjoy the peacefulness of the property and surrounding atmosphere itself. The kitchen is perfect for preparing any meal. Cooking utensils, dishes, pots and pans, a refrigerator, gas stove and ingredients such as olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and filters are provided.

    Consider stopping for groceries prior to your arrival, especially if your stay is only for one night. Once you arrive, you will not want to leave.

    *Guest Studio is available to book ( see link below). While the guest studio does not share any common spaces or amenities with this home, I suggest you book it if you consider yourself a very private person and do not want anyone else on the property (link sent upon request)

Beautiful home in picturesque location. Seamless check in/check out. Great communication with Daniel, the host. Our family had a great time getting together golfing and exploring the local vineyards. Highly recommend!

Amazing house and great place to go with large group of friends. There is a guest house (RV) listed as a separate property so plan accordingly. Other than that great hosts and were very accommodating!

The property was overall incredible. We had a very relaxing time during our stay. The house very comfortably accommodated all 9 of us. Getting from town to the house is about 20 minutes but a beautiful, scenic drive. All of the accommodations at the house were lovely from the full gym, to hot tub, fire pit and sauna & cold plunge. We did have a small issue with the sauna but were able to reset it and get it working again. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay

Our stay was great. The house was beautiful. The beds were extremely comfortable. The home is remote. That may not be a bad thing depending on what you're looking for. The house was very clean and well-stocked.

Comfortable and quiet

The home is large and well kept. The only problem was managing temperatures, especially first floor and lower bedroom level. The location of the home was stated generally in the promotion but the road from the house to Carmel Valley was more dangerous than expected.

Family wedding

Our family booked this property to attend our nieces wedding. The overall property is in a beautiful setting, although navigating up private drive with rock walls leading to the primary home proved very difficult with a large SUV. There are no lights along the wall that would allow better visual site of the rock wall when returning late in the evening.

Mountain n Paradise with no power

Last 24 hours of our stay, we had no power, no water, and absolutely no generator, candles or flashlights - locals told us this happens often and no indication from owner. We had 7 people in the house and couldn’t even flush a toilet, and no internet or cell service to get any info or assistance from owner

Beautiful Property and View

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The check in process was simple and the host was very responsive. The house has gorgeous views overlooking the valley. Lots of privacy on the property! The property was well equipped and clean! The rooms were spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! Some Notes: - Make sure to close all doors to avoid any insects attempting to break in and enter - Google Map took us on the wrong road, so I’d recommend using Apple Maps. - No cellular reception when you’re near the stay. So make sure to download the map! (There is wifi on the property) - You should definitely stay in at night, the roads are too dangerous to drive at night (high incline, narrow, lots of curved roads)

Great getaway for a group

A beautiful and spacious home with some amazing views. Although it's a curvy and steep drive from Carmel Valley, it was worth the extra effort. The size of the home made it very comfortable for 8 adults. We decided not to make the drive into Carmel Valley for wine tasting and discovered a great new winery just one mile away called Tira Nanza. Call to make an appointment for an 'old school' wine tasting experience that included a discussion in the vineyard, the processing room and the storage cave. We were also happy to find that in addition to the 4 on-suite bathrooms, there was a toilet and sink in the laundry room that served as the daytime bathroom. You should note the mention in the listing about another rental very close to the property. As quiet as it was at the house, it was disappointing to have other guests coming up the driveway at late hours. All things considered, I would return to this property, we really enjoyed it.
