Cabin was exactly what we expected based on description and pictures. The view was incredible. Everything was clean and we were happy with our stay. The narrow stairs to the bedrooms is the only thing that might be concerning.

Lakeside retreat

A wonderful stay on beautiful moosehead lake. The home was spacious, clean, and provided a peaceful setting. Plenty of fun outdoor activites located nearby.

Perfect fall getaway

The house is adorable. Cozy, comfortable, and clean. The location is pefection. We loved the view from the living room, deck, and balcony. Listening to the loons at night was so relaxing.

Great weekend retreat

This little cottage was clean well equipped and comfortable. We were given excellent directions and notes leading up to our stay. View was spectacular all hours of the day and evening from the deck , very nice dock or the large windows from inside . Only negative were the stairs to bedrooms upstairs are narrow and steep but definitely manageable.

My husband and I love it here. My family rents the home next to us which allows the grandchildre...

I love waking up and sitting on the deck with my cup of coffee listing to the water hit the shoreline. It's peaceful, relaxing and I never want to leave. I always rebook for the next year before leaving. The stairs are steep going upstairs, but we manage just fine.

Water issue

We loved the view of the lake. The bathroom was good sized. Bed was comfy. Plenty of seating. Steps to the bedrooms upstairs are very steep and narrow. Would have been great experience if we didn't have a water issue. No water is no fun.

Peaceful and Relaxing

The view from the front window was amazing! This property was everything we had hoped for. The house was clean and comfortable. The steps to the upper level are steep and narrow, they are not good for the very young and older people but the futon was comfortable in the living room. This was a peaceful and relaxing vacation. We had a wonderful time.

Fantastic spot

The view is incredible, the backyard is a good size for small kids to play and there is a small stony beach accessible, which our son loved catching crayfish at and the location is convenient. The furniture is comfortable and the house was cleaned well before our arrival. Things to be aware of: * The stairs are extremely steep with very narrow treads. We had several close calls, keep a firm grip on the handrail! * While the wifi signal covers the property sufficiently, the internet is throttled to 3Mbps which is inadequate for remote work. * Per the instructions, cleaning of the kitchenware is the responsibility of the previous tenant. Do not count on them to do a good job, ours were disgusting upon arrival. * There is no separation between the living room downstairs and one of the bedrooms upstairs. * The heater is powerful but extremely loud. * Consider bringing a portable generator if you have one. We lost power a few times and there is no generator on the property. That said, these issues are vastly outweighed by the loveliness of the property and we would not hesitate to rent this house again.

Comfy Little Retreat

My fiancé and I stayed here for a weekend in the beginning of June and it was so lovely! Everything is kept so clean, and Vacasa is so friendly. It was quiet and peaceful. The property has its own elegance that’s awing. The dock is beautiful and perfect for fishing. For any fisherman, it’s a night spot! 4-6 pm are the hot hours. Love, love this getaway. Would highly recommend to anyone! Just don’t forget your bug spray. The mosquitos out there will lug ya off! It’s close to Indian Hill Store too, 20 minutes if you need anything! Perfect distance from town. Great neighborhood.

Not as advertised but nice.

Stairs were unusable by 1 guest, sulfur/sewer smell every time water was run and outside the front door where it was swampy and 1 guest fell because of it. Listed as has AC ( thermostat controlled) when there is actually just 1 window unit upstairs. The view and lake was very nice and overall the pros outweighed the cons, if only just.

A Frame

I enjoyed my stay at the A Frame. Very peaceful, comfortable furniture and plenty of hot water. I was a little disappointed that the water at the dock wasn’t deeper and thought the appliances could be updated. I also heard mice in the rafters in the evening time..

The house is charming despite the1970's decor. The kitchen was well equipped and the scenery was beyond breathtaking. Unfortunately, the beds were also old and uncomfortable - bouncy box springs and saggy mattresses. However, it didn't matter because there was a seasonal bug infestation that took over the entire upstairs where the bedrooms were. We ended up sleeping on the couches downstairs and ultimately left a day early. I will say that the property management was very responsive to our issues. We could tell that they were genuinely concerned that our visit was less enjoyable than what we were expecting, and they tried their best to address our situation. But due to the unusually warm fall temperatures the bugs were much worse than usual, and many of the window screens were ripped and the screen doors ill-fitting, so there was no way to keep the bugs out. The house had been well cleaned but when there are flies buzzing all over it doesn't feel so clean. If the screens/screen doors were to be repaired to prevent this from happening this would be a delightful place to stay. Unfortunately, this was not our experience.

Location, Location, Location

We are frequent visitors to Moosehead Lake and this cabin is now one of our favorites. The location is great with a tremendous view and close enough to Greenville for trips to town. Lots of privacy. We spent some of the hottest days here and there were many fans to keep us cool when the breezes failed. Be aware that the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep, carpeted but nearly a ships ladder. However, there is a futon on the 1st floor if you can't do stairs. We will definitely be back to this cabin.

Amazing lodge

The views, the ambience, the fire pit, listening to the loons singing. This place was fantastic all the way around. Comfy bed, and furniture. Great amenities, we are planning on booking again next year. We absolutely loved this place and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The view is fantastic

Great Place on Lily Bay

The house was perfectly clean and well presented. The setting was serene. We met some of the staff when we arrived and they were great. I've been staying in the Moosehead Lake area for more than 30 years. This home was quite lovely. We'll definitely come again. Well done!!

Super cozy

Absolutely lovely place. Very cozy and clean. Nothing luxurious but with spectacular views. Only issue we had was with directions. They need to be updated. The blinking light in Greenville hasn’t been working for years (according to locals) and there is no Lily Bay North Side Association sign nowhere to be found.

Just ok

Lots of ant hills all over the property, spider webs and hornets nest on the exterior. We ended up leaving a night early because no one slept, the beds are very uncomfortable. Would recommend having some type of games there, not very kid friendly. Bring your own mixing bowls/plastic bowls- none there for preparing anything. For a last minute trip, we made do.
