"This place was really nice! It’s an old house, but very cute. Everything works and is very comfortable. It is fully furnished. It has a huge TV and many interesting books that we enjoyed. It’s also walkable to the harbor + some other bakeries and activities. Andrew l, the host was very nice and helped us a lot with getting comfortable. He also gave us many awesome recommendations nearby! Highly recommend this place. "

"The staff were fabulous at helping me sort out an error I made with my booking. The room was very clean. Parking wasn’t an issue. There are good restaurants within walking distance. Quiet area for getting a good night’s sleep. Room size and twin single beds are European standard issue; North Americans like me need to adjust their expectations when travelling outside of their home countries - I’m familiar with European travel, but some may expect larger spaces and beds. Ideal for those wanting to be close to the airport and keeping costs down. If you’re staying longer, and want to be walking distance to more nightlife, vegetarian/vegan food options, and shopping, consider paying more to stay in Reykjavik nearer tourist areas. Our schedule was tight and we didn’t have time to check out the bar/restaurant there. But our stay was smooth and easy."
