Literally perfect location steps from Grindelwald train station and directly across the street from the bus station. The staff was wonderful from check in to restaurant. My daughter injured her hand during a bike ride and they provided a huge bag of ice for her. The stay came with a free bus pass and discounts for different excursions cable cars and Glacial canyon. The restaurant has a great menu as well. The room was a little hot but they provided a fan which helped. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is phenomenal. Our room was by far one of the best with one bed and bathroom upstairs and one bed and bath downstairs. The view was also spectacular! The staff was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel is probably the first hotel next to the train station and has fabulous view from the balcony the mountains right in front of you beautiful the breakfast has lots of varieties very good and it’s close to the shops close to the major scenery. Highly recommend.

Let's be honest. It's a nice hotel, but it was not a $500 a night hotel not by a long shot. I've stayed in some beautiful places for less and felt for comfortable. Everything is extremely dated, the beds were painfully hard..and it was so stuffy even with the windows wide open all night. Yes, it's clean and everyone is friendly but I expected more.

We are really pleased with our stay at Hotel Kreuz Post. Location is perfect, next to the train station in the middle of Grindlewald with a stunning view over the mountains. The breakfast is good with a wide assortment of high quality. But the best is the staff, helpful and authentic.

The rooms and bathrooms have been nicely upgraded and are clean. The views are ectraordinary. Breakfast is excellent. The reception area, hallways and stairways are dark and tired looking. There is sometimes a lot of loud partying on the streets late at night outside and this can make it difficult to sleep.

This hotel was beautiful. There were lovely views from it of the mountains. The rooms excellent. There were bath robes and slippers. The spa area was very nice. This was included in your stay. There was a great choice for breakfast. The bar area was very nice and a lovely place to sit and relax with a drink. All the staff were so helpful.

I stayed at Hotel Kreuz & Post in Grindelwald and paid nearly $700 per night through Expedia. The location near the railway station is excellent, but unfortunately the experience did not match the price. Our room had several problems: a hazardous bump in the hallway, a safety box in a dark area requiring my phone flashlight, a very low ceiling, and a coffee machine that did not work on arrival. I requested a king bed but received two single beds. The foam mattresses were badly worn, with deep dips that caused back pain. To the hotel's credit, staff responded quickly and replaced both mattresses within about an hour after I complained. Breakfast was disappointing, with poor selection and, on one morning, only one banana available. A staff member also spoke rudely to my wife and raised their voice over putting brown bread in the toaster. Dinner was equally disappointing; our fish and chips arrived with cold, soggy fries. The location is excellent and the mattress issue was handled promptly. However, at nearly $700 per night, I expected much better comfort, maintenance, food, and professional service. Overall, the hotel did not provide good value, and I would not stay here again.

The room was very comfortable and clean, Bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, and the restaurant was outstanding. The location was incredible -- you are right by the train station and in the middle of all the action. Can't say enough good things about Hotel Kreuz & Post. Highly recommend and will be back!

Excellent place right next to train station

This was a great place to stay. Perfect location right next to the train station. Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The sauna was super. And the included breakfast was excellent, too. A great deal for Grindelwald, as well.
