We enjoyed the location of the property—not to far from Leyburn, Hawes, or Grassington.
Good location for short and long walks or hikes.
You can walk to the falls from the hotel, and there are footpaths if you want to walk to all three falls. That was fun.
Just a quick drive to visit Bolton Castle—worth the visit.

「Lovely hotel. Beautiful setting with an amazing view. The reviews we read before we stayed, said the staff were wonderful and friendly. Reviews often say this about hotels and we were just expecting the usual professional staff. However it must be said the staff were superb, stood out and had a major positive impact on our stay making it so enjoyable. The evening dinner very good. The breakfasts excellent. Definitely a place to stay.」
「The hotel was out in the countryside with excellent views over the moors. It was very clean and well cared for. Car parking was good. The room size, bed size, etc was great. One small problem - the room lighting was not very bright during the night time. The food was excellent and the staff were great. It was also a great place for walkers with great access to the countryside. I would recommend it.」
