"This was a nice stop just outside Capitol Reef National Park. The pool and hot tub were a nice treat after a day of hiking. The room was large but the bathroom was a bit small for 2 people. The roo.s are non-smoking but guests are able to smoke on property, a little too close to the rooms in our opinions. Overall, a good place to stay."

"This hotel was a gem. Room was great, amenities were wonderful. Fresh coffee, tea and apples in the lobby. The outdoor spaces were super cute, with nice places to sit. They have blankets for chilly nights. There is a restaurant on site that looked busy. They even have a horse named Whisky. Highly recommend the Red Sands."

"The only thing that I would change is the fact that my wife and I had the top floor suite, which is all of the third floor. If it were my choice, I think I would make a key/lock for both doors (currently, one key/lock leads to the bedroom to the left at the top of the stairs and then there is access across the hall to the suite's only bathroom *which can only be locked from inside the bathroom.* Seems that the bathroom/connecting bedroom on that side of the hall is a little exposed to strangers who could "squat" while you are out, or, asleep at night, waiting for your return and then they could, in theory, make an unexpected entrance to the bath from the (unoccupied/always unlocked if unoccupied) connected bedroom. Call me cynical - maybe I live too close to the city. I wouldn't let that detail deter me from staying there again, though. Otherwise, the stay/location was magical."
