"We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home! The house is very spacious, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable trip, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy living spaces and clean bedrooms. The place was perfect for relaxation and gathering with family and friends.The location was also very convenient, and we appreciated how well-prepared everything was upon our arrival. The host was extremely kind, responsive, and helpful.Overall, this home exceeded our expectations and provided us with a memorable stay. "The stay at the resort was very enjoyable. If you book through Orbitz, please call the property and make sure they got your reservation. They had not received ours, but fortunately had a room for us. The room was very large and clean. The whole resort needs a general make-over, as the facility is a bit dated and used (wallpapers, paints, windows, door locks, showers, etc.), but you can see that this hotel still has a lot of prestige. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with an omelette station, eggs, bacon etc. and very friendly and helpful waiters in the restaurant. Happy with our one-night stay. We would come back, should we go back to this area! "

"This is a long overdue review. We booked this as a goof, thinking it would be some wacky disaster that might lead to a good story. Instead, we were blown away by how awesome it is. The cabins are small, so don't ignore the descriptions. They're a place to sleep and keep your stuff. That's by design. The rest of the property is beautiful with a shared outdoor seating area and cabin porches that foster community with fellow travelers and then separate outdoor gathering areas for the other rentals on the property. I need to stop here and focus on the hosts. Mike and Deb are some of the kindest, warmest people I've met in my life, full stop. They were as hands on as we desired and incredibly helpful with suggested places to visit, eat, etc. I felt like we made two great friends instead of just having great hosts. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you want to get away from the insanity of suburban or city living or just like being up in the fresh mountain air, Property of Bigfoot or any of their other rentals are home runs.
