“In generale la struttura si presenta buona. Le stanza sono carine e la pulizia è ottima. Abbiamo preso il servizio mezza pensione. La cena è stata veramente ottima mentre la colazione è un po’ scarsa, da rivedere. Come posizione è ottima per raggiungere diversi luoghi da visitare. ”

The room was full of character, the bathroom spotless, our meal in the Locanda restaurant superb and we even enjoyed the 15 minute uphill walk into Assisi! The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Beatrice on reception and the breakfast room manager Petra. The grounds are peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended”

“The hotel is quite far... but nice. The problem is they charged ne twice! I had paid with hotels.com and they insisted it was not paid... since I was on a hurry I paid again. Beware!! I hope they return the money. Have your reservation at hand so they don´t do that to you!! ”

“The place is perfect! Everything is impeccably clean. Only 30 minutes walk from my room to the Basilica of St. Francis on the hilltop. And I even walked very slowly. I highly recommend this place. Great location!”

“I can not give this property the justice it deserves from the front desk and their countless accommodations for transportation and the beautiful quiet facility they provide. The wine is delicious and the dinner at their restaurant is no disappointment. We hope to come for a longer stay next time to be able to enjoy the many things The Griffin Resort has to offer. ”

“As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. Chef cooked two yummy dinners for us. Also glad we ordered villa owner’s olive oil and red wine. Short drive to major Umbrian sights. However, we recommend you go for lunch in nearby……

“We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful cottage. It is part of an ancient castello, as a separate little house (the old mill) and with all modern amenities, lovingly restored. The views from the beautiful garden are absolutely stunning, and we much enjoyed our breakfasts in the sunshine outside. Thanks for a great holiday in this stunning cottage — we can only warmly recommend it!”
