「While we enjoyed the location of the property due to its closed proximity, at all places we have in mind, the level of comfort is average. There were 3 of us in the room; myself and my 2 children. The bed was "really good", according to them; I was extremely uncomfortable on the sofa bed. How could 2 (if there were 4 of us!) people fit in that sofa comfortably, I have no idea! I had a backache and had to sleep sitting up for the rest of the night.」

「Not a fancy, upscale resort but a unique little Inn decorated with cute antiques and cozy furnishings…which we loved! Great location!…just a short walk to the beach or Carlsbad Village. We would definitely stay here again!」

「This property is obviously an older complex that has been refurbished over the years. Our room was supposed to be partial ocean view but we basically had an unobstructed view of the ocean over the top of the building in front. If you left the balcony door open the sound of the ocean was ever present. When sitting on the balcony you will want to turn the air conditioning off because the fan is right next to the balcony. The town of Carlsbad is walking distance with a number of great dining...

「This hotel is located right next to the beach and many other great restaurants in town. However, the facilities are dated: the bed will move, not enough tables in the room, dishes are not thoroughly cleaned and really really thin wall. 「The location is wonderful with the beautiful views of the ocean and listening to the waves crashing was so awesome! It’s very walkable to everything we wanted to see in the area. The “Old O’side Charm” of this property with updated interior made it the perfect stay for my sister and I to relive some of our childhood memories. Excellent communication through text.
