Vista The Wave Waterpark Hotels

"This home is big and can host many people. It has great potential to be a great home. Unfortunately our stay was not that great. The home was not clean, had dead spidees on the walls and floor. Paint peeling off the walls and doors. The primay bathroom had a smell. The outdoor furniture was extremely dirty amd worn. I paid extra to have the pool heated and it was never heated. Had to contact the host multiple times. The outside grill was nasty and raggedy. Very disappointed. I sent pictures to the host in hopes they would make changes to make this home great.The host did not want to refund the money for heated pool initially; only wanted to give me a gift card. After pushback I was refunded that portion of the trip.Lastly, the host sent me a message today to give a 10/10 and I will receive a giftcard. I took the approach to not give a review and speak directly with the host but now I feel compelled due to the recent outreach that they will rate me 10/10 as a guest and give a gift card if I rate the stay 10/10. Bad business! Hopefully they took my private suggestions to heart and cleaned up the home."

"As soon as I open, its dirty. Tried cleaning it without opening the bathroom. As soon as I open, it is dirty there was a mark of dirty toilet and very old shower. I cannot recommend this with children if looking for cheap hotel stay. Just stayed there 5 minutes and decided to leave. Did not get a refund cause I tried to clean first the counters and floor without checking bathroom condition. Toilet is so old and dirty. Light is dark so you wont see how nasty it looks."

"Our recent stay had a bit of a hic-up at no fault of the host. When we arrived the refrigerator was not working. We contacted the host and he quickly got service technicians onsite. We ended up not having a functioning fridge for two of our three days. Host was nice enough to credit us one night of our stay. Home is clean but bathrooms are a bit dated. Kitchen and downstairs living space are very nice. Neighborhood is a bit on the lower scale, but downtown Vista is amazing. "

"The room was disgusting, bathroom and shower were filthy, the shower is built for people under 5ft tall. The windows were paper thin, and did not secure properly. In the peep hole we had to put a napkin in, since it allowed the exterior to see in. There are a lot of things I can say, but don't have the space here. Short answer, that was our first and last time there. Disgusting is all I can say"

"Great place to stay if you have kids. They stay entertained with all the amenities this place has to offer, minimized tv/tablet use. Pool and hot tub were a hit. Thanks again!"

"Perfect safe and quiet place for me to sleep while I was in the area visiting my son and family. The owner Marion is friendly and pup Bruno is too! You can interact with them or not, depending your preference. I had a cup of coffee on the patio and chatted with them. I’ll be back on my next visit!"

"We enjoyed our stay. It was big enough to accommodate our large family. The property is beautiful surrounded by nature . You can hear the birds in the morning and the patio was a perfect place to have coffee in the morning. Grandkids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub was a perfect way to end the day after travel and walking around at Legoland all day. "
