This hotel was perfect to accommodate our needs, we are currently on a roadtrip from central Texas thru the west coast. The manager was on point ensuring safety and organization. Cleaning could be done better in the bathroom windowsill but that’s the only thing I found worth mentioning. Great motel!!

Carlsbad work trip

The hotel is big In property. The service is okay, not terrible but okay. Rooms are big really spacious lots of parking. Bed was comfortable not terrible ac units worked in our room took a while to cool down but it cooled down....there's a few restaurants around, walking distance, a 711 near also walking distance, Mexican place in the opposite corner, laundry mat in the same plaza as the hotel if needed, really close to the main downtown of Vista. We did not explore as we just wanted to rest though did try the Mexican food it was good.

This was a very minimal hotel. The room was large enough, but it was barely ok. The room was pretty clean when I got there. They didn't change the sheets or bring new towels at all during my 3 night stay. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel. It wasn't worth the price of $84 per night & $105 for Friday. A Motel 6 would have been better.

The exterior of the hotel is terrible. It looks like a place you could rent by the hour. My mother was going to refuse to stay there. However, the rooms were very nice and clean.. the selection of tv channels is awful there were no network stations available. Also there were no phones in the rooms. My bathroom sink got plugged up and we were moved to another room right away.

What I didn’t like about this room was that the restroom was dirty the toilet seat had pee on it… The window near the restroom had no screen and had a pole in the window for “security”… And not to mention, we spent like 15 Trying to look for the remote control for the TV there wasn’t one. We had to call front desk to bring us a remote and he spent 30 minutes in the room programming it… The mattress had a huge dent on one side in the top and the mattress was super thin and not to mention the thin pillows as well. I am not exaggerating… I did enjoy the pool The pool was clean… But the area around the outside had chairs everywhere that had been tipped over and there was actually two chairs inside of the pool at the bottom of the pool… And at night maybe like at 3 AM we heard arguing outside of our room… I could only appreciate that I was not sleeping on the street… I would probably not come back here and I would not recommend. I really wish I could’ve enjoyed myself better

Not great

Situation seemed decent when we arrived- nothing great, by any means, but stayable. Then we started making discoveries. First off, I needed to use the restroom when we got everything brought in from the car. The toilet had the room service tape over it, indicating that the toilet was cleaned- it was not. There were poop splatters all over the inside of the bowl. We started to clean it, but then decided that was not our responsibility, and requested someone come to clean it. The person working gave us a new room and apologized. In the new room, there were long hairs all over the pillows, the floor and the shower walls. There was some urine under the toilet seat, and boogers on the wall next to the toilet but at that point we just cleaned them ourselves as best we could with toilet paper and dealt with it. We ended up taking the pillows from the previous room to make ourselves feel less weird about sleeping on them. The faucet in the shower was severely corroded but everything worked, at least. The staff, at least was friendly and apologetic. I would not stay there again, but it wasn’t the worst place to have stayed.
