  • Vista única al lago de Carite - three bedroom house with one bathroom that sleeps five; is ideally suited for a small family and now with solar panels and battery backups. Water cisterna is also available. Ideal for people who loves nature and fresh air. Note: the master bedroom is the only one with A/C. But for the most part, you don't need A/C in the other rooms since the average temperature at night is about 70°

I loved this house. It’s in a perfect location. While a lot of the other areas in Puerto Rico were hot in this area it was a good temperature at night I was nice and cool! The house was clean. The view is to die for seriously! I will recommend this place to everyone I know that will be traveling to PR!

Amazing peacefully and perfect

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect clean hous clean beds and a welcoming gift of peach wine along with water and coffee the location has a amazing view that host gives binoculars to view there's access to a lake in walking distance and hammock to take in the cool air truly if you don't want to go out for a day or two there's plenty to do and enjoy at the house I simply can't wait to come back again this house is the perfect way to start and end your trip in Puerto Rico

Beautiful stay!!

We absolutely loved the property!! We all slept SO good with the windows open all night, listening to nature! The view was phenomenal in the mornings from the balcony!! Host was great with communication and the neighbors were so friendly!! Definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning to this property in the future!

Rustic getaway haven in the heart of the PR mountains

Our little family loved our downtime in the mountains. Such an incredible contrast from the heat and bustle of the coastal areas of the island. Surrounded by wildlife and incredible views. The house had everything we needed. Our host was helpful and communicative throughout.

Mountain solitude

Five days of heavenly peace.. nice breeze in the morning and cooler in the evening after returning from driving and the tropical heat of the coast. Great place to just do nothing and just enjoy the view to the lake. The lake house had everything we needed for relaxation. We’ll definitely return.

Little bit of paradise

Awesome! Relaxing among vegetation , nature and lake. Serenaded by coqui frogs. Great view and weather was perfect. Definitely stay there again. Whole place to ourselves. Quiet and friendly neighbors.

This property is only accesible by car, since any amenity may involve several minutes driving. This house is on the top of a hill near an artificial reservoir set within the Carite State Forest in the Sierra de Cayey mountain range. Lost of Coquis!. The place is a three bedroom, all with several windows and a porch. Views are fantastic and illustrative of the humid tropical and subtropical humid forest. The upper part of the house is in a decent shape and water at that time was available without any issue. I appreciated having a small ice maker tray in the freezer. The owner was quite responsive to my messages, which was great. If I were the owner I'd suggest offering the kayak for day rent. There's no much to do around for a family with small kids. Instead of the listed coffemaker we found two stovetop coffee maker (greca) with one missing a handle. Beds were just ok, with linens and towels in gray color. Softener was hiding the unpleasant smell of mold. The floor was noticeable in need of a scrub, especially in the bathroom. That bathroom mat is nothing good. Bed linens were of dark colors and 100% polyester. Flat sheets were not provided but I received them upon request. Plenty of roosters around that wakes you at several intervals from 5 am in the morning.

Perfect stay

I stayed here for 3 days, and I'm very happy I did. The views from the property are unparalleled and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the balcony working and taking it all in. I wish I could've stayed for longer as this place provided a perfect opportunity to live undisturbed in the midst of nature. I will be back again!

Amazing property nestled in the mountains

Truely my favorite VRBO yet. Amazing property surrounded by the mountains and the sounds of the coqui frogs will lull anyone into the most zen like sleep they've ever experienced. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with my culture having never been to the island since my adoption/foster care moved me away. 360 picturesque views I will absolutely be returning.

Great stay overall, but there needs to be more done for bug control. Understand that it’s the mountain and they’re everywhere, but then more should be done to make the home more sealed. Otherwise it was phenomenal

Perfect getaway

We absolutely loved this place. It was a beautiful view every day. It did get a little cold at night. We did go in January. So, if you go during this time. Just bring some warm PJ's. But, everything was great. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home!! We will be going back.

Casa Boni guest house had an absolutely stunning view of Lake Carite. The house was cozy and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. However, despite being well-organized, I was disappointed after being charged for a service fee to find that the place lacked a deep clean. Mistakenly I had forgotten by house sleepers and immediately after stepping on the floor with my bare feet, I felt the grim and dust on the floor. The cleanliness of the rental was also lacking in other areas such as finding others peoples hairs in the bathroom which I found gross. It was also disappointing as the kitchen photo had shown a coffee machine, but upon arrival, there was none. The coffee machine issue was brought to the owners attention but he chose not to acknowledge my observation. Additionally, I was surprised to find an empty shower gel after a long day of traveling. I had to put water in the empty shower gel container in order to make do until I was in town to purchase my own. When I brought this up to the owner, he stated that if there was any shower gel, it should be in the kitchen, but unfortunately, there was none. Overall, while the view and size of the Airbnb were impressive, the lack of cleanliness and missing amenities left me feeling disappointed with my stay. It's important for owners to accurately advertise their rentals and ensure that they are properly cleaned and stocked for guests' comfort and satisfaction.
