Beautiful stay!!

We absolutely loved the property!! We all slept SO good with the windows open all night, listening to nature! The view was phenomenal in the mornings from the balcony!! Host was great with communication and the neighbors were so friendly!! Definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning to this property in the future!

Amazing peacefully and perfect

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect clean hous clean beds and a welcoming gift of peach wine along with water and coffee the location has a amazing view that host gives binoculars to view there's access to a lake in walking distance and hammock to take in the cool air truly if you don't want to go out for a day or two there's plenty to do and enjoy at the house I simply can't wait to come back again this house is the perfect way to start and end your trip in Puerto Rico

An Authentic Expirience

I found this place to be a beautiful getaway, despite the power outage in the house (which was not the host's fault). It was truly a unique experience. The host was excellent with communication and made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for a single family. However, the bedding may not be ideal for larger family gatherings, especially with elderly members. The neighbors were incredibly kind and helpful during the outage. I will definitely consider returning in the future. Thank you for making our stay so warm and welcoming!

Rustic getaway haven in the heart of the PR mountains

Our little family loved our downtime in the mountains. Such an incredible contrast from the heat and bustle of the coastal areas of the island. Surrounded by wildlife and incredible views. The house had everything we needed. Our host was helpful and communicative throughout.

Great stay overall, but there needs to be more done for bug control. Understand that it’s the mountain and they’re everywhere, but then more should be done to make the home more sealed. Otherwise it was phenomenal

For those seeking peace, nature, and beauty without pretension

Our stay provided the slow down we were hoping for and then some. The views overlooking the lake and mountains were nothing short of stunning, as were the incredible symphonies of coqui calls at night. To my family were magical. We did a little exploring of the lechon highway, modest trails and charming swimming hole at Charco Azul, but otherwise scheduled nothing but the experience of being in the mountains. The silly antics of the neighborhood's chickens were a bonus. The house itself provided lots of space for a family of four, comfortable beds, and helpful washer/dryer. Humberto was a great host, very accessible, with great local food recommendations, the best in a modest, cozy al fresco bar just around the corner. This is a stay for those of us who want to experience the Puerto Rico beyond the all-inclusive resorts.

Little bit of paradise

Mountain solitude

Five days of heavenly peace.. nice breeze in the morning and cooler in the evening after returning from driving and the tropical heat of the coast. Great place to just do nothing and just enjoy the view to the lake. The lake house had everything we needed for relaxation. We’ll definitely return.

Perfect stay

I stayed here for 3 days, and I'm very happy I did. The views from the property are unparalleled and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the balcony working and taking it all in. I wish I could've stayed for longer as this place provided a perfect opportunity to live undisturbed in the midst of nature. I will be back again!

Perfect getaway

We absolutely loved this place. It was a beautiful view every day. It did get a little cold at night. We did go in January. So, if you go during this time. Just bring some warm PJ's. But, everything was great. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home!! We will be going back.

Great stay

If you want to experience the beauty of Puerto Rico’s countryside, up in the mountains and away from the tourist traps and crowds , this is the perfect place to do so. We spent a memorable week here and have no hesitation in recommending the place. Be prepared to drive up and down mountain roads to reach it. Nevertheless, from there you can easily access mayor roads to anywhere in Puerto Rico. But again, be prepared to drive and enjoy the scenery of mountain roads to reach mayor highways. Humberto , the host, who we personally met , is a great and attentive host who is readily accessible if you need him . Highly recommend.

Mountain Living

The property had good views. The property is about 30 minutes from Guayama and 30 minutes from Arroyo. There was not any air conditioning. You may need a bug zapper. There are plenty of curves going to the property and leaving the property. There three other houses close by. It was a quiet and peaceful stay.

Amazing property nestled in the mountains

Truely my favorite VRBO yet. Amazing property surrounded by the mountains and the sounds of the coqui frogs will lull anyone into the most zen like sleep they've ever experienced. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with my culture having never been to the island since my adoption/foster care moved me away. 360 picturesque views I will absolutely be returning.
