「Beautiful hotel and place. Beach nearby is beautiful. They offer transport and sunbeds which was great」

「Overall a great choice. Central location, boutique style, spacious rooms and super friendly staff. No lift is my only negative, as it’s a challenge carrying luggage up flights of stairs. 」

「Midden in het centrum, maar toch makkelijk parkeren in de garage vlakbij. De kamer is vrij klein, maar wel comfortabel. Het ontbijt is prima en het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er was 's nachts wel wat rumoer op straat, maar dat valt te verwachten in een drukke straat.」

「Beautiful pool. Family friendly 」

「A lovely place to stay just outside of Tropea with excellent traansport links. There is a small beach down the cliff side which leads onto another spectacular beach wirh snorkelling. The staff were excellent and very accomadating. Lots of food options around the town. 」

「The property had great facility’s , very relaxing sauna ,and spa , breakfast menu had a wide range of pastries , fresh fruit and coffee to order , the Owner really worked hard to make our stay comfortable , spoke fluent English and very helpful with information regarding the area. Highly recommend Mina accomodation 」

「We had a lovely stay. Ferdinando is gentleman, always taking a personal interest into our vacation. Great place in a small Italian town. A must see for anyone. Will definitely be coming back. Love the vibe, the people, the place Thank you again Ferdinando.」

「My family and I (husband and teen daughter) had a fantastic stay in June. We were given such warm and welcoming hospitality. Highly recommend Villa II Barone and the beautiful town of Tropea. It was our favourite place in Italy. 」

「The modern rooms are short walk to town center, we had parked just outside the property and walked everywhere, there is plenty of information in the room about places to visit, eat and drink. Also we were given chips to exchange in a number of cafes nearby for breakfast (coffee and croissant), as it was included in the stay. Very happy with the room, would recommend it.」

「The room is superb. But have tiny issues, like the tv didn’t work well, the shower is nice but the spray shower hear that you can hold didn’t work. We didn’t use the sauna because it’s hot season.」

「It is an old convent, still partially in use? Right on the water, awesome, rustic for sure. Dont expect hotel chain experience, this stay is about the awesome staff, great locationnand quiet , clean place. Very unique.」
