Peaceful dog friendly retreat

The house was decorated so cute, and we loved the back deck and screened in porch facing the beach. Perfect for morning coffee. Easy walk to the beach with the dogs in the morning and in the evenings.The coffee bar was a nice touch, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Plenty of parking, and a nice neighborhood to walk the dogs. Several fun beach restaurants nearby.

Great place to stay

The house was decorated very nicely and it was supplied with all kitchen equipment you need to cook and serve dinner. They also had beach chairs and umbrellas to use on the beach. The house and location is perfect!

Beautiful Beach House

The house was beautiful and the location was fantastic. Short walk to the beach. Everything was 5 star except the upstairs A/C unit could not handle the heat and humidity. The dishwasher was a little tricky to turn on but worked fine once it got going.

Beautifully decorated, with all anyone would ever need, Summers End was more than we could have imagined. Being able to walk out the back door and be on the beach was amazing! The house, the beach, the privacy, the community, and the restaurants/shops/and stores made this a location look forward to returning to. We have already booked it for the same time next year.

Fantastic beach home!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was fantastic for our family of 6 ( 3 adults, 2 teens and 1 child) with room to spare! Great location on the beach. It’s is close to public access, which can make the beach area a little busy but once we claimed our spot near the house we had no issues. The house is clean and pretty well maintained. Kitchen has everything you could possibly think of! The beds are comfortable! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Gulf beach getaway

Had a very pleasant stay. Property was very nice and as advertised. Beach conditions were great. We noticed lots of fish, gulls, pelicans, and dolphins… great to see such abundant life and a healthy gulf coast. The property is a little distanced from Gulf Shores which we knew, but for others less familiar with the area, just plan on a little extra travel time getting to and from Gulf shores attractions and restaurants. We also had a bit of trouble finding tent rentals due to Morgantown area, but the property fortunately had some tents in the beach closet which were a life saver. Much appreciated. We would stay again. Thanks!

35 Year Anniversary Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a good location, a nice house but it needed some TLC. Upon arrival we noticed 4 out of the 6 light bulbs in the primary bath vanity were out, the lights above the kitchen sink were not working and appeared as if they had gotten too hot being close to the ceiling. The furniture could use updating, the wall outlets were wore out where they would not hold a plug being a possible fire the evening we would see / kill multiple large roaches in the lower level of the house. Two of the tv's were not connected to anything and were very small screens.The oven light was out also along with very nasty spare pillows in the closets that needed replacing.

Wonderful Beach Getaway with dolphin views daily

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon entry property was beautiful, view was spectacular, and we couldn't have been happier with our rental choice. The property was well equipped, with anything you could use in the kitchen, to all the necessary beach items in the storage area, which the teenagers even decided to organize them along the walls better, and the selection was more than you could anticipate to take to the beach. A nice binder was available upon entry with all the local information and management numbers for any issues. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and seeing dolphins every morning off the coast during breakfast. Couldn't ask for anything better. The only thing we noticed, was there was a small trash bag left on the upper deck and small wrappers in one of the nightstand drawers, but we quickly threw them away, and went upon our vacation. We brought friends with us, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Couldn't be happier and will look forward to another vacation in Morgantown, Ft Morgan, using one of your properties, hopefully this one will be available when the time comes, as we loved it so much.

Very Nice House

I was surprise to find that house does not have a automatic ice maker in fridge, there was however a ice machine counter style but just not able to keep up. Their is a Dollar General very near by and has a nice grocery section as well, it maybe we just like a lot of ice.Two things that may be a concern to some is that the beach is washing away at a alarming rate. There is a drop off approx. 20 inch about 20 feet from walkway does not leave much sitting room plus other visitors are walking in this area. Please use caution with young kids. The other thing is the 3 steps down from main level to get to deck!! I have very bad knees so this was not what I was expecting to find, but it was my problem but something to consider. I knew about the steps getting into home but this is a giving. The fan in downstairs bathroom did not work, but told Linda not to worry about it for now. Deck furniture is of very high quality and comfortable. The enclose area of deck was very nice and was main reason for renting!!!!

Great rental company

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1st of all. Linda,the property manager was excellent and Costalview Vacation rentals made the process super easy for booking. The view and location was outstanding. The house is in need of A LOT of maintenance repairs that the owner should take care of. We used the dryer and it was so hot in that room and noticed that the dryer vent wasn't even hooked up to blow outside. There is a hole in the ceiling on the downstairs master bedroom closet. There are two soft spots in the floors. One upstairs by the balcony and the other by the loveseat on the lower level. The exhaust fan in the 1st floor didn't work, the lights in the bedroom where the twin beds don't work, cover for the exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom was wife had a total knee replacement on January and the toilets are super low and it made it difficult for her to get up. The dishwasher lower rack is missing the wheels and makes it difficult to move the rack when it's full.There is A LOT of little things that can be done to make this home beautiful and for the amount that we as customers pay to stay in these houses, you'd think they'd be in better shape. The beach is nice. However, you're only two house's down from beach access and you have to claim your spot very early in FRONT of your rental and then you're still crowded because the beach is a public beach. So, if you have the impression that the beach in front of your house is yours, your wrong. They had even used the shower at the end of the boardwalk. We usually stay in Fort Morgan where the beach behind your house is yours. In my opinion, when you pay this amount of money, the house should be better than your own. We've stayed in many houses in Fort Morgan and spent less for a well decorated and well maintained house. When you go on vacation, you shouldn't see things that need attention as much as this house needs. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. The plates need to be replaced due to some are cracked and chipped.

Being right on the beach with direct access was great! It was great to play with the dogs on the beach and wash them off outside. Our one and only complaint was the upstairs bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable. Otherwise our stay was perfect!
