Perfect vacation spot! Waterfront property - located on a canal leading to Little Lagoon. In the heart of Gulf Shores - 3 blocks to Gulf Shores main public beach and The Hangout. Walking distance to popular shopping spots and restaurants. Spacious 3 bedroom/2 bath unit. Primary bedroom with private bathroom and screened porch. Kayaking and fishing from the backyard - bring your kayak or rent one when you arrive!

PLEASE NOTE: This property is a duplex. One or both units may be rented. If one unit is rented, then the other unit will be rented out to another party. Each unit is independent containing a kitchen, living area, 3 br/ 2ba, and private screened porch. This listing is for Unit A. See listing #1876993 for side B.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 3 vehicles on site.
* Amenities include free WiFi, 2 smart tv's, fully equipped kitchen, screened porch, canal front.
* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.
* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom.

The pctures are old and dont reflect how the property looks now. The kitchen is all odds and ends, the drawers have dirt in them and we had to wash everything before using them. The floors are sloped and uneven, the walls all need to be painted. When someone rents the other half of the house, the whole house is constantly moving and your bed shakes. It gives you motion sickness. The main bathroom has alot of drawers and they are all painted shut, so you cant use them. The shower has no enamel and should be in the dump. Door handles just hanging, sinks all drain slow. Every wall and closet doors dirty. This house needs alot of TLC

I wish I could leave zero stars this place was disgusting. I messaged the host on the day of check-in to let them know that it was not satisfactory and I was told that there was nothing they could do ended up having to go through VRBO to get a refund, please stay away from this place

Loved the house. We had 3 couples and it was plenty of room. So relaxing with the little bay in the back. location was 10/10. Close to the beach, bars, restaurants! I’d stay here every time we come to Gulf shores.

Cleanliness

The location was great however, I never stayed at a facility where I had to clean the property first. Pee and hair in both bathrooms. Sofa was never cleaned some kind of sticky stuff with a long hair was on the seat. Jelly stains on the refrigerator door. Floor smelled like wet dog (see mop picture) Shower water never drained in the small bathroom. The unit desperately needs fresh paint. Times are hard and my spouse offered to pay an expensive vacation for a property that did not meet the standards of what the website displayed. I was embarrassed and disappointed to have wasted

Needs updating

Few issues with this property, the back door was unlocked when we arrived, both bathroom sinks drain VERY slowly and pictures show closet door in bunk room but it is missing. Positive for this house is location, walking distance to everything.

Sweet spot!

Only 3 blocks to the beach! GREAT - location, yard, neighborhood, parking, water pressure and very spacious. A starter supply of one roll of TP, paper towels, 2 packets of dishwasher det. and one garbage bag was all that was supplied. Suggest brining or buying anything additional needed including liquid dish soap.

We enjoyed our stay. House met all of our needs. Kids loved the back screened in deck. Super close to all the down town shops and public beach areas. I only gave 4 stars on cleanliness because I had to mop when we arrived. We will definitely consider staying again.
