A little shaky but great location!

The house seemed to have a lot of movement even for a beach home but the location was superb!!!

Inaccurate listing information

The house was cute but calling it fully renavated is a stretch. Also this is NOT a beach front home in any way shape or form. It also does not have “…..beach just steps away with private access ….” Not expecting a “beachfront home” it is perfect for a getaway with kids. The beach is very nice, good clean sand. Knowing what is really there I would go back

Amazing!!

Everything was fantastic!! Would definitely stay there again. The only thing I would recommend, and only because I’m not a morning person on vacation, darker curtains in the Master Bedroom. Otherwise, absolutely amazing

Fantastic renovated equipped beach house

Loved this renovated rental. The bathrooms and little charging nooks next to the queen beds were nice touches. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we could want and the chairs on the deck were perfect for gazing at the beach. On the fridge there is a diagram of the official public beach access, but the house almost directly across the street is unoccupied/in need of repair and we were able to access the beach through their driveway with no problem. Wonderful stay!

A little time away

Kermits place was absolutely wonderful for our beach vacation. The home was clean and highly functional given the space. The updates on the home are perfect, especially the bathrooms. The close proximity to the beach was perfect and this home was the most well supplied home I have ever rented, I understand this cannot always be counted on but it was very nice. The laundry room is perfect as well as the downstairs storage room with some beach and grilling supplies. I very much recommend Kermits place for a great beach vacation in a nice neighborhood.

Amazing week at the beach!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This was the best rental property I have ever stayed in - and we travel a lot. You cannot beat the location and the ocean view, and with private parking and updated amenities, getting settled was hassle-free. The house was recently renovated, so it felt very fresh and clean. Both bathrooms were gorgeous - spacious and bright with special touches that made it feel like we were in a spa. The beds were comfy and cozy and felt great after long days on the beach. The open floor plan is awesome and allows everyone to be together for cooking, eating, watching TV, or playing games. The wraparound porch was a beautiful spot to enjoy morning coffee and evening drinks. The property backs up to a wildlife refuge, so it really felt like we were in a remote, private area. We saw so much wildlife - stingrays, turtles, crabs, fish, dolphins, and sea birds. We drove into Gulf Shores several times to eat and shop, but it was always so nice returning to Fort Morgan to rest and recharge. We had dinner at Tacky Jack’s twice, because you cannot beat that sunset view from their porch. The washer and dryer at the house were an added bonus, because we didn’t have to haul any laundry home! The outdoor shower was great after being on the beach all day. We used both public beach access points and they were each easy to get to and navigate with the provided beach cart, umbrellas, and chairs. No more than a 5-minute walk to each. Probably my favorite thing about this house was the mix of new pieces and features paired with what felt like older mementos and art from the host family’s years in Fort Morgan. It really felt like we were visiting the home of people who love the area - true locals. Speaking of locals, the neighbors were all very friendly and welcoming, too. We are already planning our next trip back to Kermit’s Place! If you are looking for a quiet, relaxed, beachy spot for your next trip, don’t hesitate to book here!

Great family vacation!

My stay at the beach house in Fort Morgan was nothing short of spectacular. The setup of the house was ideal for a relaxing getaway. The spacious living areas, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms made it feel like a home away from home. The décor was charming and beach-themed, perfectly complementing the serene coastal surroundings. One of the highlights was the stunning beach just steps away from the house. The private access to the pristine sands and clear waters made our beach days incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The beach itself was uncrowded and peaceful, offering the perfect setting for sunbathing, swimming, and beachcombing. Whether lounging on the balcony with a good book, cold beers on the deck, or taking long walks along the shore, every moment at this beach house was filled with relaxation and bliss.
