Excellent place to stay

The property, in Gulf Shores, was across the street from the beach and fishing pier. Excellent location. The condo was clean, up-to-date, sliding glass door to sit out on balcony and watch the waves roll in on the beach. I will return to this unit. The only problem i had was figuring out how to use the front door locking mechanism. Management sent their maintenance person, who repaired the lock and i didn't have anymore issues. Again Poole and Associates did a wonderful job taking care of me.

Spring break Grand Beach Resort

We loved our stay at Grand Beach Resort. Would definitely recommend it. Looked just like the pictures and was clean. We will be back again.

Great Stay once kinks were fixed

We were approved to have our service animal with us and the condo manager saw her and called the owner and stirred up some stuff resulting in us almost getting kicked out at 10 pm but Poole & Assoc fixed it and made it great for us!!

Great Stay!

We enjoyed our stay! The unit was clean and equipped with what we needed for our short stay. The mattress on the king bed was pretty comfy! Easy access and very short walk to the beach/ocean. I would not recommend pulling a wagon through that sand though! :) Also, chair/umbrella rental right there as you walk up! Thank you for having us! My kids really enjoyed it!

Difficult with kids for beaching

There is no crosswalk or efficient lighting for crossing the street (4 lanes) to the beach access. The beach access is a bit of a walk with kids and all the things. A boardwalk would be useful! We would not rent again without these three things being implemented. Otherwise, as a last minute rental it was ok but we would've spent much more time at the beach with better/more convenient access. The maintenance guy was friendly and always floating around saying hello and seemed attentive to guest needs. Our room was good. My girls loved the bunks and the pool/hot tub. We wish there had been better stove top cookware but that was minor and we worked around it.

Nice place!

We enjoyed staying in this condo. We were greeted by a gentleman who was very helpful and answered all our questions. The condo itself was clean and fairly close to the beach. We didn’t use the pool and hot tub but they looked nice as well. Having the bunk bed alcove made it nice for our daughter to have a place for her belongings and to sleep. The balcony was a great place to sit and relax. I had noted that there was an issue with the sliding balcony door in other reviews . It still doesn’t slide with ease. It wasn’t a big enough issue to call maintenance about. The only negatives were the towels & washcloths were folded and ready when we arrived.. They were all still very damp. They were clean but not dry. I had to throw them all in the dryer. Also, from what I read there’s no smoking in condos or on the balcony. We smelled cigarette smoke several times when sitting out there. We think a pedestrian crosswalk would be nice so it would be easier and less hazardous to cross the street to the beach. Overall, the condo was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again sometime.
