Legacy Room 502

Super nice condo, right on the beach and nice pool. Traffic was pretty bad but it was the end of June so that is to be expected. I hope to go back maybe at the end of August or beginning of September!

Family trip

We loved the size and convenience of the condo. It was clean, decorated nice and had most of all the amenities we needed. It would be helpful to have a cutting board and sharper knives. Also, please leave more towels and washcloths to accommodate 8 people, as we only had 2 towels and 2 towels and two washcloths for 8 peole. Also, please provide enough towels and washcloths for 8 people as we had to purchase some at the local DG. kWe did enjoy our stay and loved the pool and the ocean views were amazing. We would definitely stay at Legacy again.

Legacy 502 exceeded our family's expectations

My family enjoyed the condominium's layout, furnishings, kitchen, and especially it's quick access ti the beach. The pool was amazing as well. Lastly, Legacy is convenient to a number of stores, so we didn't have to go far to resupply foe our vacation.

Amazing!!!

Great location

Location was great, very nice condo over looking the ocean. Perfect size for family w adult children. The only thing that's wrong is theres a broken tile right as you step out the balcony. The view from the master bedroom was perfect to fall asleep to and wake up to.

Fun after busy season getaway

All was fine for the most part. Queen bed needs an upgrade and there are holes in the floor in kitchen area. Needs new silverware. Those are our only minor issues.

Luxury view

I wanted a close up view of the ocean front and center and that is what this property provided! The condo itself had everything you would need. It does need some updating and a bit of maintenance but it was very clean and inviting. Minutes from the beach and pool. When we weren’t on the beach we were on the balcony enjoying the view, people watching and being mesmerized by the waves. It was also nice to be able to walk into the cool air conditioning of the condo to cool off. All in all this property was well worth it and we definitely will book again

Large and fresh

Overall, newer looking furniture and plenty of extras. Sofa bed mattress in living room was awful and patio furniture needs an update. Handle on door was broken and needs repair. Beachfront was short from property to shoreline so too busy during the season to try and find space. Pool needs some repairs but overall was an enjoyable alternative.

In need of upgrades

The location is great, but this unit is in serious need of updates. There were things broken such as the shower curtain that was torn, the closet doors on laundry area that were broken and stayed open as a result, Electric recliners that were unusable due to missing remotes, Carpet in both bedrooms is very stained and in poor condition. This Condo could be great if given a little TLC.

Beautiful location but...

We chose this rental for the location. We wanted to be ocean/beach front and this condo is very much that. We saw dolphins from our room which was all we wanted out of this trip. Downsides: water heater did not have enough hot water to fill the large bathtub in master bathroom (this large bathtub was another reason we chose this rental so that was a huge disappointment), the rental was not safe for small children in a few ways but the primary one was the beach access (to access the beach you have to walk within 1 ft of the outdoor swimming pool which made walking with an independent 2 year old very stressful), the beds were horribly uncomfortable as were the pillows (both me and my husband had neck and back pain and couldnt wait to leave), the furniture on the balcony is in super rough shape and the furniture inside the rental is super worn out (one of the couches even had a hole worn in it). Depsite being on the beach this rental provides nothing beach related (no beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys, umbrella, etc) Overall we stayed here to see dolphins and we saw dolphins. Beyond that it was a very mediocre stay. We plan to revisit this area but will probably find a different rental due to all the issues this one had.

Property not maintained at all

The condo was not clean by any means. The walls were dirty, and not just regular scuff marks, but splatter, dirt and hair. There was leftover, opened food in the cabinets. The furniture was either broken, stained, and the pull out bed was nothing but coils. The second bathroom smelled of urine. I washed a load of laundry only to find out the dryer did not work. I notified the contact number I had been given and they said they would alert the maintenance team. They also said they would issue some kind of refund. We were there 7 days/6 nights. That was day 2 and we never heard from the maintenance team (even after asking a second time), nor did we recieve a refund. I had to call Vacasa customer service when I got home and they issued $169 refund for the inconvenience of the dryer. At the beach, it was a little more than an inconvenience. In the second bedroom, the outlet was literally hanging out of the wall uncovered. Again, notified the contact number, outlet was not fixed. This property was not maintained at all. I have been vacationing in Gulf Shores once or twice a year for the last 15 years and this is by far the worst place I have stayed. With what I had to pay I expected much nicer accommodations. I will not book with Vacasa again.

PERFECT VIEW

The condo was very nice and everything we were expecting. The carpet needed to be replaced long ago and the trim needs painting. But, none of that kept us from having a great time. Next time I will stay in the same area, but I will look for a condo without carpet.

Awesome view…HORRIBLE unit!!

All I can say is what a DUMP!! The only redeeming quality of this unit is the amazing oceanfront view. Otherwise, it was dirty (Vacasa did refund my cleaning fee), in need of maintenance (missing a blind in the bedroom and burned out light bulbs, which Vacasa fixed), and in general overall bad shape (imagine that rundown apartment you shared in college with 3 other roommates or your son’s fraternity house). The walls were banged up/scratched/unpainted patches/unfilled holes, the tile floors had holes in them the size of quarters, there were dirty dishes in the cupboards/drawers, dead bugs and dust in the windowsills, the baseboards looked like they hadn’t been dusted since the last painting many years ago, something on the bedroom wall that looked like black mold, all sorts of odds and ends and basic junk just tossed into piles in all the closets, anything metal was rusted, no instructions for tv’s and 5 remotes for the main tv (where do you even start?), nasty carpet that looked 29 years old and was threadbare and stained and matted, the sheets were too small and wouldn’t even tuck in, the towels were thin and left lint all over your face and body (better off just drip-drying), no blankets anywhere - only a sheet and thin bedspread and it was chilly at night), and I could go on and on. I complained to Vacasa when we arrived at 11 pm after a long travel day of plane delays, and the next morning they offered to move me to another property, but as it was a busy weekend, there was nothing comparable to the location (either on the beach or close to the wedding activities I was there to attend), and I opted to stay and make the best of it because there were no better options.
