We have made some major improvements to our beach house as always. We installed all new cabinetry plus granite counter tops in the kitchen with a new sink and faucet. We also have all new appliances including a built-in ice maker and beverage fridge. We have all new flooring throughout. The hall bath has a new vanity, granite top and mirror. We doubled the size of the master bath and it now has a double vanity and granite top as well as a larger shower with glass doors. We also have a Teak dining set on the pool deck so you may relax with your drinks and snacks or lunch by the pool. The hot/cold water outdoor shower is what we have wanted to build since we bought our house and we finally did it! It's so fun to have.
If you don’t care to cook, just a few miles west is casual dining at Tacky Jack's; great seafood and options for the kids. The view of the sunset from their deck is unbeatable. If you'd like something closer, less than a mile east is a fun restaurant and bar, Sassy Bass (next to their pizza shop/grocery/liquor store). Formal dining at Kiva Dunes is a short drive away, as is the informal at The Beach Club Sports Bar (5 miles) or Behind the Pines Restaurant and Bar (5.5 miles). Of course, you can head to Gulf Shores for Outlet shopping, Mini Golf, OWA Amusement Park, the Zoo or the action of day or night.
Turtle Crawl is a perfect fly-in vacation or easy drive from Hwy 10. Jack Edwards National Airport (Gulf Shores Regional Airport KJKA) can accommodate from Cessna to Jet-sized aircraft. Gulf Air Center FBO is also a pick up/drop point for Enterprise Car leasing (Foley AL).
