The location is great, and the unit has everything you need for a family getaway. However, the Wi-Fi didn’t work during our stay. We called the management company’s foreign call center, and although they said they’d resolve it, we never heard back. Each bed only had a paper-thin blanket, which wasn’t very comfortable, and the kitchen could use some upgrades. The outdoor shower didn’t work properly—the tap worked but not the shower head. General cleanliness also wasn’t great. A few small improvements and investments in the kitchen (better pots and pans) would go a long way.

Great Fall Break Spot

Was a very clean house right on the beach it was perfect for kids to get up in the morning and be right on the beach would stay here again for sure and only a short drive to restaurants.

This location is THE BEST! Everything was wonderful there was a bit of a plumbing issue but I notified the management of the outside so I'm sure it'll be resolved. It was a great house

Great location

Great location for relaxing stay. Our code did not work but able to get in with help of cleaning lady and we left back door open so we wouldn’t be locked out. Two rooms had twin beds and only one room had a queen. Don’t believe advertising was accurate. Otherwise enjoyable stay.

Relaxing Vacation at Gulf Shores

We had a great time at our vacation spot on the Gulf Shores. We went to local restaurants and local attractions around the area and was very impressed with how much activities there are to do within Gulf Shores. We also drove 15 minutes down the road to Orange Beach and visited many of the stores and restaurants around that area. We were in and out of the rental going to the beach and other areas, but we enjoyed our stay.

Nice waterfront home with direct beach access

We love this property. Have staid there before and will do it again in the future. The house is in good overall condition, furniture and accessories are well chosen. Direct beach access and the deck overlooking the Gulf are our personal favorites.

Beach getaway

This was perfect place for us. It is out of the crowded part of the beach, but not far from shopping and restaurants. You step out of back door and you’re practically on the beach. House was great, 3 rooms with 3 bathrooms which is great when everyone comes in at same time to shower. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location

The location of this property was truly amazing, close to all the amenities that Gulf Shores has to offer, beach access from the back door. However, we were left a little unimpressed with the actual home. The laminate "cardboard" flooring was warped, the outdoor furniture was dirty and one piece was completely destroyed. Our handrails going up the stairs were so sticky even after we used a wipe. The sink faucets were stained and looked unclean. The rug in the downstairs bedroom was extremely filthy. But everything else seemed to be okay. Other than that, our stay was decent. I will probably look at another place to stay next trip.

Location and beach great. All else fell short.

Pros- location and appliances are great, texting with agency for issues was convenient. Maintenance was somewhat prompt (a day later and again 2 days later). Cons- everything is run down, cheap and not clean. Paint peeling, corners of walls chipped, around vanities and toilets not clean. All rooms have thin or translucent curtains letting sun in. Should use black out curtains. Beds had thin cheap blankets and house offered one additional blanket. There weren’t any dish towels for kitchen or rugs by doors to catch sand. The outdoor furniture looked like it was pulled out of the trash it was so beat up and run down. The back sliding door lock was broken and the front door handle lock (keypad deadbolt still worked) was broken. Neither were fixed when asked but we were given a piece of wood for sliding door. Toilet was broken upon arrival but that was fixed next day. Entire place needs overhaul.

The property is exactly as portrayed in the photo's. The proximity of the beach and restaurants are excellent. The kitchen has all the needed supplies and the the appliances worked well. The curtains in some rooms are sheer as mentioned in other rooms; particularly the master bedroom. Other rooms seem to have been addressed. Truly the only negative were the beds; the 2 twins and the queen were hard as rocks and the king in the master was old, too soft and you "rolled" into the spot someone obviously slept in all the time. There were mattress toppers in the closets so either guests or the owner bought them. TBH; they were gross. There were long hairs on them as well as dust bunnies when we pulled them out. I covered them with sheets and tried them on the twins and the queen and they didn't prevent back aches. We bought our own 3 in. foam toppers which helped. I reached out to Vacasa and they refunded the mattress toppers and part of the trip which I thought was a great gesture.

Needs maintenance

Location is great! Property needs maintenance. Stoppers are broken or missing in all sinks. Master faucett leaks and is very mobile. It wasn't installed properly. Garbage disposal is non-working. Toaster was broken. Balcony door lock is broken. There is a stick of wood to keep it secure. There were multiple tv boxes. It was a guessing games as to which one was to be used. We would stay here again if these things are corrected. Wifi issues, but vacasa helped correct that.

Loved being on the beach!

Enjoyed our stay, and loved that the house is right on the beach. About a 30 second walk to the water! Clean environment! The only things we did note were the dining room chairs were very wobbly and the living room couch was not the most comfortable to sit on. Other than that, had a great time!

Horrible Place-MUST READ Before Booking

Not sure where to start, I guess the beginning is always best. So after a long drive from Texas, we were all excited to get inside and unpack. We were told 4 o’clock, was strictly enforced. So we timed it and were able to show up at about 3:45 p.m. The idea was to unload everything, put it by the stairs, and at 4 o’clock carry everything up, so everyone can unpack, while we go and buy groceries. So 4 o’clock rolls around, we punch in the code, and guess what, the cleaners are still in there, not even really started (“Oh it will be a while, we got behind”, great answer!!!!), so sometime after five they were done. As everyone was already tired we had to sweat our asses off waiting on them. No beach towels, one large towel per bathroom for showers, make sure you bring your own toilet paper and paper towels, as only one is provided. You will need to bring any and all seasonings, all they have is salt and pepper. If you want to cut anything, bring your own knife set as they have nothing. They have one good pan to cook eggs and pancakes on, everything else is garbage. The cookie sheets are all rusted, so forget about that. The furniture is nasty and stained. Wait it gets better, for those that remember DIAL UP Internet, that is what you have here, it is ridiculously slow. I opened up the closet where the a/c unit was and the filter was BLACK, I took a picture of it, unfortunately, I can’t attach pictures otherwise I would, it was disgusting, probably not changed in years. I took it out so we would not get sick from whatever was growing/accumulated in that filter. Now let us get to the giant roaches, we came across 3 of them, they were at least 3 to 4 inches long, one in the kitchen (I tried to kill it but failed) and 2 in the downstairs bedroom where my kids slept, both of which I killed (I have pictures but can’t upload them). Of course, after that, I had to sleep downstairs, since the kids were not going to sleep with the roaches. Oh, the tiles in the restrooms downstairs are cracked and missing, I cut my foot on one of them at night. Let's see if there is anything else, oh yes bring your own pillows, unless your like sleeping with one pillow. When you pay this amount for a place you expect certain things, like no roaches, pots and pans, knives, a place to be clean, decent things, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, and dishwashing tabs, maybe I am asking too much. Anyways I write this review because if someone else had taken the time to write an honest and comprehensive review, we would have never booked this place, ever. Good luck to you all in your travels, oh and make sure to bring ROACH KILLING SPRAY…….

Can’t beat the location

The location and setting is fantastic, especially with kids, having the beach in the backyard was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked (aside from seasoning). Great beach getaway!

Lovely stay at the beach
