Thoroughly enjoyed our time

Morning walks on the beach, chasing crabs at night, private pool, covered parking, room for your family and the in-laws (on separate floors, of course), this place has it all. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Wits End East. A short drive to all the popular Gulf Shores attractions, but far enough away from the crowds.

Really enjoyed our vacation!

We really enjoyed our vacation - weather was great and the house was very accommodating. We stayed at Wits End about ten years ago and the added walk-over to the beach is amazing. The pool is still "cold" (but we enjoyed the privacy of our own space). We actually rented both sides (related parties).

Amazing trip for the kids--hope to be back next year!

The trip was amazing we always enjoy brining the kids to gulf shores. The house was amazing the kids loved the board walk to the beach and the access. We couldn't have asked for a better week. The house was so nice, it accommodated all of our needs. Experience and house was amazing. Hopefully we can book again next year when we bring kids back for their trip.

We recently stayed at Wits End East and had a great time! There were 19 of us total and the place was very spacious and clean. The pool kept the littles entertained when we were ready to get out of the sun for a bit. There was a lot of things to do nearby and many places to eat. Our host, Richard, was very prompt and helpful and was able to accomodate our furry friends. One of the absolute best trips we have taken! We will definitely be booking again!

Great Walkway to the Beach

The boardwalk directly from the house over the sand dunes to the beach was a huge highlight. The beautiful view from the house of the beach and being able to see friends/family playing and sitting on the beach was advantageous. Spending time with friends/family was wonderful! & being able to get out of the sun and still enjoy the water with the pool under the house was great.

Perfect beach house!

The house was nice, the boardwalk to the beach was our favorite part. With 2 toddlers it made it super easy to access the beach. Any issues we had were promptly taken care of by property manager (Haleigh), she was sweet and helpful with everything! I will say the photos on VRBO are a bit outdated, and beware there are A LOT of stairs, but other than that no complaints! We plan to book again with Bama Beach Houses for our next trip!

We stayed Thanksgiving Week 2023 at Wit's End East and it was excellent. Steps to the beach and close to Gulf Shores restaurants and shops. Nice big shaded pool on bottom level but fall temperatures kept us out. It'd be great in summer. Communication and instructions were great. We loved it.

Great Memorial Day trip!!

The property was perfect for our annual trip- 3 families with friends (15 total). The house was a cute classic beach vibe, clean, and we had enough room to park 5 cars and our boat on our side of the duplex. The boardwalk to the beach was AMAZING 👏👏👏 after many summers of having to drive/walk over the hot asphalt to get to beach access this was so convenient!! The hosts were very responsive and even proactive in checking in with us and making sure we had all of the info we needed regarding the city rules, renting chairs, etc. we had a blast and would 10/10 recommend this house ❤️

Wits End could not have been more perfect!

It could not have been more perfect. Your house was beautiful and perfectly appointed. It accommodated us 3 "older" ladies and the 4 kids, whom I think bed hopped throughout the week. Everybody had their own space which was perfect. The closeness to the shuttle pick up for Hang out for them could not have been more convenient. They would've had to walk otherwise, mom was on vacation too! Loved your recommendation for food, too. It was all delicious!

Witt’s end

Had a wonderful stay with our family, the bedrooms and view were amazing. Right on the beach as well. Well equipped with plates and dishes. My only complaint would be that we paid for the pool to be heated and it was not. It was supposed to be 85 degrees, but we felt it was not. While it did not bother the kids I have a special needs daughter which is why we paid to have it heated. The neighbors were kind and respectful. We would love to come back.

It was another great stay. We stayed in Wits End. It was a beautiful place. Very spacious. We did Sundancer last year. I think I may have liked it a little better since it has the pool in the sun vs under the house but the shady pool was nice for the kids! The hot water heater was out when we got there for the top floor. I contacted the company through the text number the next morning. They quickly responded and had someone there that day to check it and was replaced on the following day Tuesday. Thank you!

Best Beach house in Gulf Shores

I just can’t say enough about this amazing beach house. We have stayed in Beach Houses for years and this is by far, the best one we’ve ever stayed in. We had a big family vacation that included ages 22 through 81. The house is set up perfectly with clean and comfortable rooms on every floor. The mattresses were soft and comfortable. There was a thermostat on each floor. The convenience of two refrigerators and a washer and dryer was Great. The accessibility of the beach was so amazing due to the wooden walkway and short distance to the ocean. It was never crowded in front of the beach house even in July. It was nice to have a pool on the ground floor near the parking area. The 6 bathrooms were convenient and clean and large enough for our big group. We had a great time relaxing by the ocean, cooking, playing games and watching movies. Our pups loved it too! The owners were easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. This was definitely a 10 out of a 10 experience!

Beautiful, roomy house right on the beach!! WiFi was spotty…that's our only complaint.[Hi Dana! Thanks for the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 star review! Happy to hear everything was perfect for you! I am sorry to hear you had some sort of issue with the wifi. I wish you had reached out about that as I installed that, with a very nice multinode wifi mesh network, so it really is a solid network, with coverage throughout the home, unlike many where there is a single wifi access point. I would have been happy to trouble shoot. Also possible with the storms that mediacom had some outages, but those usually mean a complete loss of signal, though sometimes a quick modem and eero router reset can flush out sporadic ones! Anyway, next time if you have any issues, shoot the mgt co (Bama Beach Houses) or me a note/text/platform communication and we can take a look. Again, really glad you all had a fantastic time, and I would be happy to host you all again anytime! Ty! 🙏]

Loved it

The house was just great for us. Top assets were: Shaded pool in August and it worked all week, Very comfortable mattresses, Six bathrooms!, SHORT walk to the surf with half of it on that great boardwalk that made wagon runs so much easier, Two refrigerators, And finally, you actually had enough silverware, dishes, cookware and appliances for the large capacity of the house (that’s the first time that happened for us in years of vacation rentals). Re the management company, the contact I had with them was to compliment them on how clean the house was and how smooth check-in went, meaning the door code arrived in time, it worked, and the house was indeed ready. I called them to report a broken shelf rail in the refrigerator. They quickly offered to send someone to fix it but I carry duct tape and that held it for the week. They dropped off some tasty chocolates for the inconvenience, nice touch. So that's it. All good.
