Jos hotelli satsaisi enemmän tekstiilien pesemiseen (aamiaispaikka) ja lepotuolien pehmusteiden uudistamiseen, yleisilmeen saisi helposti miellyttäväksi. Liikenteen äänet häiritsivät aamulla neljän jälkeen kovasti, sillä huoneeni oli kadun puolella. Hinta-laatu kohtuullinen. Edellytykset paljon parempaan.」

「Television was down. They had to replace a new one after inspection. It took a while to complete this. Our room was too close to the kitchen. The noise was transferred through the venting system. That needs to be improved.」

「Loved this property. The reception was so friendly and welcoming. The pool is lovely. The food and drinks (aside from one mistake) was good and reasonably priced. We often had the beach to ourselves. A few things, such as the gym and probably do with a bit of an update/clean but it was the end of the season and there were very few people to use it. The TV was good for English speakers, should you want news or movies. The hair dryer and mirror were outside of the shower and toilet area,...

「Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel is located right on the beach, the ocean is just a step away. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe...

「予約完了後、数時間でホテル側から「設備の破損があり修理に4〜5日掛かる。キャンセルしてくれ」とのメールが来た。 この時点でキャンセル料が100%掛かる時間帯。 こちらからキャンセル手続きをすると宿泊代が戻らないかもしれないと考えてそのままにしておき東京の窓口に電話。 何度かけても時間を変えて掛けても日にちを変えて掛けても繋がらない。祝日で休みだったのかもしれないが旅先で問い合わせ窓口に電話が全然繋がらないのはとても困る。 当日、直接ホテルに出向くが看板が無く分かりにくい。 やっと見つけたら開いていない。誰もいない。 隣のアパートにオーナーか従業員が居たので事情を聞くと、彼らからキャンセル手続きはした。彼らにもサイト側からの返信が無いとのこと。 最終的に数日が経過して代金の払い戻しのメールが届いた。 窓越しに眺めた部屋はサイトの紹介通り良さそうな感じだったので泊まれなかったのは残念だ。 入口の階段に多数の野良犬の糞が落ちていたのはいただけない。 また同じ地域に行くことがあれば今度は泊まって評価を出したいと思う。」

「Super location for us, 2 miles outside of Hikkaduwa on a quiet lagoon. Ideal if you wanted to travel around the local area or near enough by tuk tuk to the beach. Lovely pool which was cleaned regularly and surrounded by trees which you could see many local birds and animals from. Friendly staff. Great food. Staff helped arrange a rental scooter for us.」

「Heel schoon en comfortabel verblijf. Hele goede wifi, en Airconditioning 2 schone zwembaden mooi aangelegde tuin. Op korte loopafstand van de hoofdweg met veel restaurants. Ontbijt beschikbaar en op zich goed.. maar traag gereserveerd en verkeerde volgorde. Eerst Fruit dan na 10 minuten het Ei, dan na 10 minuten de toast en de koffie en fruitsap pas na 40 minuten... Maar zou er zo weer terug keren... prima.」
