“Wir haben uns hier enorm wohl gefühlt, die Zimmer und Anlage ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und wirklich sauber. Das Personal macht den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderem, extrem zuvorkommend, höflich und hilfsbereit rund um die Uhr - wir haben uns bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Unterkunft hat einen perfekten ausblick von den balkons auf das Meer und wir empfanden es als sehr schön, dass man nicht mitten in der Stadt ist sondern sehr viel weniger Trubel um einen herum ist. Wer vom Land kommt……

“The rooms are not as advertised. I booked a sea and pool view room but could not see either as there was a huge tree outside the balcony blocking the view. It is advertised as having free wifi but there is no wifi anywhere apart from in reception. They said they were upgraded it but there was none to upgrade.They were in the process of installing it. “dirty, does not match the description, the breakfast I paid for was only an omelette and toast and even that was obtained through arguing, the corridors were dark in the evening and I couldn't see walking, beach chairs were a charge, the swimming pool was so dirty that it was impossible to use it...”

“Vi blev uppgraderade till ett större rum helt utan kostnad. Rummet var jättefint och välstädat. Gillade att det fanns balkong och minikyl. God mat på restaurangen och mysig miljö. Personalen, framförallt en kille va supertrevlig och hjälpte oss ringa runt när min mobil gått sönder för att få tag på flygbiljetterna. Han bokade även taxi till oss när vi skulle åka till Colombo. “This was our 2nd stay at the Asian Jewel. Our return was based on our previous experience which was lovely staff, good food, clean and spacious room. The location is out of town but was easy/cheap to get tuk tuks and being situated next to the lagoon allowed us to see lots of beautiful birds from our balcony. Would recommend and hope to return again.”
