「This is a good place to experience old Savannah and the neighborhood is safe and charming. Easy walk to cafe’s, parks and shopping. The stairs are a little steep up to the bedrooms so maybe not good for anyone feeling unsure of their balance etc but the bathroom is bright, water pressure and water quality is lovely and you can darken the bedroom to sleep in. Overall it was a nice getaway and would return.」

There are however some maintenance issues needing attention- the hole in the outside roof gutter (by the bins) causes water to splash over the floor. 「The apartment was charming and just as I wanted. It’s an old home so it has the creaks and uneven floors, and is perfect. Nothing inside is brand new, but I feel that would have taken away from the charm. That said, everything worked great. The location is amazing. Within 10-12 minutes walk to River Street or to Forsyth Park. Just steps to great restaurants. We didn’t move our car the entire weekend. Having its own parking space was the best.」
