Fantastic traditional hotel stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Made breakfast every morning for everyone - hot sandwiches, coffee, tea, cut fruit, salad. Very nice place to stay and spotlessly clean. Buildings are traditional Korean and were beautiful. Very nice play to stay near the sights.

If I could give 20 out of 10 for cleanness! I travel a lot and this place is something else. Views of mountains combined with a beautiful property made it a tranquil and memorable trip for us if I ever visit Gyengju again will book here for sure. The only thing I would suggest is have bit more comfortable pillows.

Beautiful hanok conveniently located close to all the major attractions. It was easy to check in and the room was very clean. We enjoyed the little cafe area which was fully stocked with all the amenities like tea, coffee, hot/cold filtered water and a microwave.

We totally enjoyed our stay here. The host greeted us as soon as our taxi pulled up and assisted us with our Check-in. He was gracious and helpful showing us with a map of the area the local highlights. The room, traditional Korean style, was perfect for our stay in the historical Gyeongju region. Breakfast was very nice with elegant presentation. My wife and I highly recommend this property.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. The host was friendly, polite and helpful. The included breakfast was a great start to the morning and I enjoyed how quiet the surrounding area was. Only thing to note is that it's bit of a walk to get into the town proper as the bus service was infrequent during my stay.

Recomendable

Buena eleccion. Sitio original con propietario muy atento. Recomendable si quieres tener experiencia en hotel tipico tradicional a precio adecuado. Desayuno continental original.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hwarangroo in Gyeongju. Everything was perfect. The location is ideal. It’s less than 10 minutes by taxi from the train station and also very easy to access by bus. It is perfectly situated: peaceful, charming, and close enough to explore Gyeongju on foot, while remaining away from the overly touristy areas. The accommodation itself is beautiful, modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with everything you might need. The included breakfast was delicious and a lovely way to start the day. A huge thank you to our host, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He gave us such a warm welcome and even created a custom itinerary so we could discover all the best spots in Gyeongju on foot. His advice made all the difference. We had a relaxing and memorable experience, and we’ll definitely come back. We highly recommend this place.
