Peace and quiet except for all the wonderful birds, singing, tweeting etc and flying around us in the surrounding gardens , paddocks and rural countryside plus the horses that came by out the back! “The hosts Terri, SteveO and Teresa were fantastic. The property is set in a quiet country location with pool, vegetation and birds. Our room was luxurious incorporating lounge, balcony overlooking the treetops, bed and bathroom with shower and spa bath. We enjoyed chats with the hosts at happy hour and ate breakfast and dinner at the property, the meals were delicious. ”

“After a lovely 2 night stay in Alexandra retreat. Couldn’t fault it, incredible breakfast provided by Paul the host on both mornings of our stay. Beautiful room over looking the pool and hinterland. Stocked mini fridge in the room and bathrobes. Only 2 rooms in this property so it doesn’t feel like your normal bnb, both rooms are on the bottom floor so private from the hosts. House is close to a few townships so good options for dinner etc Would definitely stay here again”
