Overall the room was clean, tidy and good value for money. The only downsides were the air conditioning was set for heat and not cooling. Even though I appreciate it's winter for the locals, 16° was still very warm for me and dropping the temperature would have been more comfortable for me. The second niggle was probably just me, but I couldn't operate the TV properly to sign into Netflix. Apart from that all was satisfactory. I'd definitely stay again.

Das Zimmer ist modern eingerichtet. Das Bett war bequem. Es war überall sauber. Das Zimmer heizt sich allerdings sehr schnell auf und die Klimaanlage hat trotz Beachtung der Anleitung nicht so funktioniert wie gewünscht.

Klimaanlage hat gar nicht funktioniert bzgl. Wintereinstellungen aber das Zimmer war super warm. So wir müssten immer mit Fenster auf geschlafen. Ganze Schacht wo Fenster ist stinkt. Zimmer wurde gar nicht aufgeräumt. Nur die Tücher wurde gewechselt. Boden und Badezimmer wurden durch ganze Aufenthalt gar nicht aufgeräumt. Frühstück war okay und Mitarbeiter waren meistens nett. Ich würde nie wieder übernachten. Wir buchen nie dort und vllt. auch nicht auf Expedia buchen. Danke

room good condition ac is controlled by reception of whom are only there half day. the bed wasnt great kept creeking and the mattress had dip in it. otherwise all ok

Very good value for money. Perfect for a short stay in Malta. Location is really good and the bathroom facilities are good for the price. Very good shower. Breakfast was included and whilst it’s good value for money the actual variety and quality of the breakfast is very limited. Housekeeping is also not the best. Did not clean the room properly (sometimes didn’t make the bed, take rubbish, give fresh towels). If you’re staying in Gzira for a short stay (3 nights ish), you can’t go wrong with the Urban Isle. Any longer, I’d recommend something a bit more up-market.

Limpieza perfecta. Ubicación estupenda. Tiene hervidor de agua con café y té en la habitación. Habitación bastante grande. Se oye el ruido de la calle que pasa por delante que es muy transitada. Buen desayuno. Cama y almohadas cómodas. La única pega es el sofá cama que no era demasiado cómodo.

L'arrivée autonome est un très bon point car notre vol a été retardé et nous sommes arrivés dans la nuit sans aucun problème. Chambre et salle de bain spacieuses. Le matelas du canapé-lit était inconfortable par contre celui du lit était correct. L'isolation avec l'extérieur était très mauvaise et notre chambre donnait sur une rue très passante et bruyante de jour comme de nuit. Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre malgré une température exterieure douce en octobre. Je pense que cela était dû au fait que la chambre était juste au-dessus d'une pizzeria.

The hotel was amazing and the service excellent. however, please know that there is no one at the reception desk after 1pm to assist with questions, directions, phone calls, needs. You are on your own from that hour. Our room was a little smaller than we would have desired, but very nice, as we took a week to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Advice: if you are staying a week or more, be sure to obtain phone service with internet for Google maps and taxis, etc...and buy a bus pass for 25 Euros if you are planning to get around by buses! We definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel is well located, and although there was no reception at the time we arrived, the self-check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our room was on the ground floor just after the reception; it was small but clean, with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Unfortunately, breakfast was the biggest downside of our two-night stay. The area was right next to the bins, the staff looked unhappy and were not welcoming, and the food quality was poor — so much so that we skipped breakfast entirely on the second day and ate elsewhere. Service was also disappointing. On the first morning, I asked about scooter rental (as advertised on posters at reception), but the receptionist said she didn’t know anything and told me to try asking down the road. On the next day, when I returned just before checkout, the receptionist abruptly shouted, “You need to pay €2 for the city tax” while I was on my way to my room — not the best way to approach a guest. Overall, while the location and shower were good, the poor service and breakfast experience would make me choose another hotel in the same price range and area next time.
