“Not worth the cost. ”

“This was absolutely awesome.... Now I think we got a little bit "lucky" (explanation below), but this could be the most incredible hotel stay I have had in my entire life. There are two suites that hold guests. All the guests were in suite one, and we were the only couple in suite two. It was essentially like we had the entire mansion to ourselves. There was a piano. “Unique hotel with lots of charm. Vintage furniture and decorations made it feel like we stepped back in time. We somehow ended up in the Governor's Suite which had a sitting room with a hot tub, a small balcony, 2 sinks and a fireplace. Everything was clean, and there were toiletries provided. “The good: Beautiful high end hotel and room. Valet parking. It was renovated within the last 5 years. Staff was very very friendly. Beds were comfy. Food and drinks were good. Opportunity for improvement: We had a room on the third floor right next to a very loud ventilation system. We stayed in a beautiful hotel but could not sleep because of the rolling drum sound the entire night. To make matters worse, the bathroom has a skylight with a glass wall that divides the bedroom therefore we had……

“Did online check-in and waited for digital key as I always do. Check-in time came and went and several hours later app still said that the room was being prepared. Had to go to the front desk only to be told that the room was ready. Not a big deal… But frustrating. Woke up at 6 AM to loud hallway music playing, open the door to find a speaker right above room 112 where we were staying. I’ve never been in a hotel where the hallway music was playing let alone loud enough to wake people up. Went……
