We were extremely happy with our 3 nights stay at Gabaa. Staff were superb. All the cabins were hidden amongst the nature, making it must more relaxing and enjoyable. Property was very quiet and had plenty of privacy. Hiruni and Eranda and also everyone else were always available and made our stay memorable. My kids didn’t want to leave the property. Rooms very spacious and AC was worked perfectly. We got some tea and food and they were authentic.

The place is really beautiful, and the gardens are very well looked after. The only small downside was our terrace : some of the wooden planks were a bit worn, so you had to be a little careful not to trip. The hotel is quite unique and very well located, close to Minneriya safari and the famous Lion’s Rock, which makes it a great base for exploring the area. The staff were all very friendly, and communication was easy throughout our stay. The only point to note is that the meal service can be a bit slow which could be less ideal if you're in a hurry. Thanks again for the welcome, we had a really lovely stay with our children!

This quaint little place tucked away in nature was a great place to stay before visiting Sigiriya Rock. Nice individual A-Frames, good pool, and friendly staff.

Wonderful staff . nothing was too much trouble. Lovely accommodation. Bit difficult for driver to find but very secluded. Only negative was the stray dogs roaming around and 1 in particular sleeping outside our front door.

A lovely little resort with lovely and helpful staff. There was a little gecko in our room and a few little critters outside our cabin that scurried around on the roof waking us up in the night (but we didn’t mind). We didn’t swim in the pool because it looked a little milky. Overall I still loved this property and would stay again.

Short but sweet stay at gabaa! We arrived in the evening to such a kind welcome. Drinks, answered questions, and got us to our stunning room. We ordered dinner which was delicious as well. Unfortunately didn’t have time to take advantage of the other amenities but it all looked beautiful and clean.

We stayed here for a night and wish we could have stayed longer.. absolutely loved staying here . The rooms were clean and has a rustic feel. The staff were amazing. I would rate it 10* if I could . The location is great , tucked away from the hustle but close to town . You can get on a safari tour to see the elephants. Definitely will visit here again .

Maybe the weather was bad when we travelled or the place is overrated. Staff boys need proper training on hospitality and respecting hosts' privacy. Food was expensive but good.
