"I really fell for this place! It’s rustic and quaint and a little rough around the edges in a way that gives it a quirky charm that is uniquely its own. My best photos from my trip were all taken at the hotel on their insanely beautiful beach that honestly feels like a private beach. I began every morning sitting under the stars watching the sun come up. Tunnel beach is walkable from the hotel and has a STUNNING sunset. It’s removed from the town in a way that makes it feel remote, but is close enough to get into town to shop or eat. I will miss this place a lot and will absolutely be back. We left this morning for Maui where we’re staying at a resort that is three times the price and we’d SO much rather be back at Hanalei Colony Resort. "

Haena Beachfront With Stunning Panoramic Ocean Views TVNC # 5134

"This was a wonderful property - everything was better than advertised. The views were amazing! The access to the beach (really the back yard of the property) was better than advertised. The host (Steve) was very helpful and communicative - offering recommendations, checking in to make sure everything was OK, etc.We had four people in our group but the home could easily have accommodated two more. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms were all great. There were two decks - an expansive deck at the back overlooking the ocean and a smaller deck (also with a view) off the master.Having the grill available was great and we did not need to buy any beach "toys" - snorkels, chairs, floats, etc. were all provided.Highly recommended and plan to return ourselves!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was great for accessing beaches and a short drive to town (a car is a must). The beach towels and beach chairs were very helpful. The noise of the dogs and roosters are significant but the white noise machine and air conditioner noise are helpful. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. "

"The communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful. Easy instructions to follow. Beautiful home, apart from the great location feeling removed from the business but accessible to Hanalei, we really loved the back patio. It was a great place for a morning coffee and we even saw chickens, cows, and donkey grazing at the edge of the tree! Would recommend to anyone looking to visit this side of the island."
