A scenic stay outside of the city.

The house was exactly as described and more. From a fully equipped kitchen to a lovely game/entertainment den to relax, the house had it all. The host were extremely responsive and left such beautiful guides to help us navigate their home and the surrounding area (including a hike up the waterfall which needs to be seen)

Weekend Away

Great home in a nice quiet neighborhood just off the main road to Hunter (12 minute car ride). Some of the group went and enjoyed the slopes while others kicked back and relaxed in the large hot tub. This is the perfect home for a low key group of people just looking to relax.

Perfect Location to Enjoy Autumn Color

We had a family reunion at the cabin. It was finely built & decorated, very relaxing and overall functional. We very much enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and the billiard table downstairs. The only regret was that we kept forgetting to use the bathroom in the basement, which turned out to be the best of all three. Highly recommended!

Successful Girls Weekend...

Great location, home has a nice layout for a group of 10. We truly enjoyed our time at the house, the outdoor decks have a great view and the hot tub was wonderful...

Great weekend on the mountain.

I’ll start by saying what a pleasure it was dealing with JoAnn. She made the whole process easy, and was extremely kind while doing so. JoAnn gave all necessary information in a timely process making the check-in/check-out seamless. Upon arrival, we were even greeted with a fresh batch of brownies. Thanks for the hospitality JoAnn! I would definitely recommend this house, and would definitely go back for another trip in the future.

Wonderful location and beautiful views!

Great location! 12 min drive to Hunter.

What a cozy cabin! 7 of us stayed for a long ski weekend. It takes about 12 min to get to Hunter. Cute town. Good food. Everything was great!

Amazing home away from home!!!

When I'll get a second vacation home - that's what it would look and feel like. Absolutely amazing house with warm, cozy and stylish finishes - everything from softest rugs to beautiful open living/kitchen area with wall to ceiling windows and huge wrap around deck. Joan and Scott were great and quickly responded to my last minute booking and all the questions that I had. The house had all the essentials and kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Provided linens and bath towels were a big plus and much appreciated. My birthday hiking trip was a blast as house is located close to awesome hiking trails as well as near town. My girlfriends and I had a great time and we are looking forward to coming back soon.

Incredible Getaway

The Catskill Cabin not only lived up to expectations--it far surpassed them. It is a quiet, beautiful cabin that is spacious, relaxing and perfectly located. Furthermore, the owners are lovely people and were a pleasure to work with. Their cabin is well furnished and impressively supplied. I am looking forward to staying there again!

This is a great house to stay at.

The owners are wonderful people. They were there for you when you need them and very helpful. The house was perfect for my family and I to stay in. There was plenty of rooms for us. The house had everything you need. The house is close by to ski mountains and town shopping areas. My family and I would definitely come back to stay there again.

A beautiful chalet in a great location!

A beautiful cozy cabin well-kept and well-equipped. There were eight of us and we all enjoyed the accommodations. The kitchen is great and JoAnn has made available everything needed to cook a gourmet meal. The location is great; not more than 5 miles away from Hunter Mountain. Although it snowed while we were there, the roads were plowed promptly.

beautiful spacious and cozy cabin

We arrived on Friday night and found the cabin even better than the pictures portrayed . We were a large crowd of six adults and 4 kids but everyone had a bed to sleep. The place was very clean and stocked with those last minute kind of things you always forget during a trip. Great place and great time.

WE LOVE THIS HOUSE!

My group and I stayed at this while attending an event at Hunter Mt. This house was gorgeous. It was exactly as described and better. It was clean, very well maintained, and had every amenity we needed. The decor was beautiful. If i could, I'd pick the house up and transport it to my home town to live in it. Joanne provided exceptional customer services from our first inquiry through the return of our deposit. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a really special place to stay!

Lovely Mountain Home

We have just returned from a lovely weekend stay at this beautiful home. The description of the home, its amenities, location etc. were all spot on. The home is beautifully and comfortably furnished. There was not a single thing we could think of that wasn't furnished. The property is extremely well-maintained and the home was immaculate when we arrived. The owners, Scott and JoAnn were a pleasure to work with. You can tell they really want you to enjoy their home and the area. We found the binder which listed just about every activity in the area most helpful and the list of neighborhood restaurants was a godsend. We spent most of our time talking and enjoying a glass of wine on the deck, but found time to walk at the nearby lake and take in the Hunter Mountain Oktoberfest. We enjoyed a lovely German meal at the Swiss Chalet and were glad we knew ahead of time that reservations were a must. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Beautiful, Comfortable Home with Uber-Nice Owners!

My two brothers and I just completed a one week stay at JoAnn and Scott's house. Things could not have gone more smoothly! The house was just as beautiful and clean as it looks in the photos. The numerous large windows in the home, in addition to the balconies, gave the home an indoor/outdoor feeling that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful natural setting but with all the comforts of a modern home. It was also great fun to wind up our evening with a game of pool. The house is in a good location. We wanted to do a lot of hiking and this location fit our needs perfectly. I cannot say enough nice things about the owner JoAnn. She was extremely pleasant and was very responsive to any questions we had about her home or about resources in the area. We would definitely stay here again and would strongly recommend this home to others!

BEAUTIFUL HIDEAWAY COZY & COMFORTABLE!

The Property as stated was very cozy and comfortable. It was close to the main town but hidden away in a beautiful setting. Great Home for entertaining. The owners are very nice and made sure everything went smoothly from initial booking to receiving our security deposit back. I would highly recommend this property for your vacationing activities.
