Didn't meet my expectations but ok overall
Service and dinner are good. The Room we stayed is a bit stuffy and has a smell which I don't know how to describe (not smelly though). Location wise is not far from hakone yumoto (10 minutes by bus) and open air museum.

food is delicious, staff are nice. hotspring inside room is hot enough, very spacious room, clean and tidy. Nice environment, provide shuttle service to and from the hotel. Really enjoy the stay.

超棒的日式温泉酒店
超棒的酒店，预定了带风吕的房间，很大很舒服。餐点也很不错，晚餐选了8点档的，所以有充足的时间先在房间里泡了一轮，前台有会讲中文的服务员所以沟通完全没有问题。酒店门口是箱根登山巴士H线的蛇骨野站，出行非常方便，离登山电车小涌谷站不到10分钟的路程，但因为是带坡度的山路，所以如果你带着行李箱的话会不太友好。

免費湯屋設施、餐點美味的飯店
房間乾淨舒適，提供的晚餐及早餐餐點為套餐樣式，餐點精緻美味，最棒的是入住顧客可享個人免費湯屋設施且提供的備品完善，有免費咖啡茶飲提供、大廳寬敞舒適，雖然附近無商店不易購物，入住房間風景為一般山景，很適合好好於房間放鬆並使用個人湯屋設施。

The hotel is super clean, tidy and nice.Staff are really helpful and professional. For both breakfast and dinner, they are super yummy. If you go by bus, it is just 3 mins walk to the hotel. If you go by tram, they will arrange limo service to pick up or drop off.

飯店的所在位置有些偏僻，但出門一分鐘的路程就有巴士站，所以也很方便，另外也提供貼心的接送（從小涌谷站）。飯店櫃台很熱情也和熱心可提供不少旅行的建議，用英文交談也沒有任何障礙，住宿所附的早晚餐很細緻也很有水準。是一次很棒的住宿經驗，可以讓人感受到日本式的體貼入微。此外這次還意外的得到了升等，很開心也很感謝！

行前因為訂錯房型, 與飯店連繫後, 立刻幫我們更換, 第一印象非常好 兩餐均為日式風格, 口味不見得符合台灣人口味, 但擺盤令人賞心悅目, 且能一嚐真正日式餐點 房間乾淨空間舒適, 尤其榻榻米區很有療癒感, 床略偏硬, 很好睡 前台與餐廳的工作人員均有種英式管家的優雅感, 服務令人感覺細膩貼心, 整體無可挑剔!

nice hotel with great helpful staffs
When arrive by bus, you don't notice there is the hotel; it hides beside the mountain. You gotta pay attention so you can find the way. The lobby of hotel has ok looking. The good part is the staffs are very nice and helpful even they don't speak English mostly. The other very good part is the dinner and breakfast they served, which is very well made and decorated, although it's not my girlfriend's taste.

Worst experience in Japan for years!
We stayed a night in the hotel in early march 2016, trying to chill ourselves with the hot springs. Honestly this is not a cheap place to stay in, while most of the facilities are up to expectation. the dinner, which was included in room charge, not to mention it's not close to the standard one would expect from a Japanese kitchen, it caused me and my mother serious food poisoning, we both had diarrhea and spent the whole night vomiting. Right after we reported to the front desk, the prompt reaction was to deny with no sign of tempt to investigate into the situation because in their saying, no "Japanese" guests has the same symptoms. They even accused that it may be the lunch we had(a pack of potato chips 7 hours ago) have been causing the issue. Our report was never mean for requesting any compensation, instead, we were just trying to remind them so they will be more careful while handling the food and no one will fall victim again, but their reaction and attitude is ridiculously denial, indifferent and irresponsible. As a frequent travellers to japan, we can never imagine such an experience in the country which is always well known of their seriousness, cleanliness and politeness. It was a nightmare and one of the biggest disappointment in many years.

Manatei Hakone真的很好!尤其是是服務人員很細心!這趟日本旅程最愛的就是這家飯店，非常喜歡，未來有再來一趟關東自由行一定再安排來箱根一趟特地來此家飯店住! 飯店泡湯除了有男女分開也有家庭泡湯，早晚餐也有提供，非常精緻又好吃的料理，飯店雖然離小涌谷站有距離，但可以透過小涌谷站外面的公共電話撥打給飯店請工作人員來接(訂房後會收到此飯店的專屬e-mail內容有敘述，公共電話一通日圓10圓就ok，早班有會講中文的服務人員，服務人員都會說英文)，離開飯店要去箱根湯本站可以直接搭H Line bus直達，站牌位置和時間表可以問服務人員，比登山纜車還快!總而言之這家飯店我超級無敵愛!

excellent room and easy to find the hotel
we stayed 1 night on top floor with a private round hot spring spa, the environment is super good. when we arrived the station, there is a hotel phone nr on the station map, and there is a public phone too, I just dial to them and wait about 3 mins for the hotel car to pick us up, very convenience. It just a bit far fm the souvenir shops or outside restaurants, need to walk 15-20mins along the traffic road (no pavement), unless request a ride or pick up fm the hotel. The next day when we check out the staff was very helpful to ride us to the station. then, I noticed there was a service written on the concierge: shuttle ride to 御殿場outlet at 9am, takes 1 hr. The hotel is perfect, food is very good, all are private room per table in the restaurant, with excellent service and room condition. Would come back.

施設の設備そのものは大変良かったですが、食事処での夕食で子供連れのご家族とグループ旅行と一緒になり、赤ちゃんは泣きわめく、子供はずっと騒いでいる、グループは宴会状態で、うるさくてうるさくて全く食事を楽しめる状態ではなく、早々に部屋に引き上げました。カップルなどの他の宿泊客も顔をしかめていました。静かに食事を楽しみたい宿泊客用に時間帯をもうけるなど、もう少し心くばりがあってもいいのではと思いました。そういう意味でサービスが悪いと思います。
