"The Villa was new and up scale and roomy. It was super clean and great instruction on how to deal with the needs for our 2 days stay. The bedrooms was good size with comfortable Queens size bed and not those twin size. The beds were great and firm enough you know they weren't cheap material. The amenities were great with the sauna room was clean and equipped with sauna towel along with the private hot tub in the unit and no need to share. The balcony was great for BBQ with family and friends....

"My group stayed at Villa H. Clean room and has the basic amenities. The location was convenient to other areas. We used a rental car, but there is also a bus stop right outside. Villa H was placed above another loft, so getting our larger luggage was a bit difficult, but we were aware of the room placement so no issues at all. Overall we really enjoyed the Villa and location. Thank you!"

Hakone Kowakien TEN-YU

Hakone Kowakien TEN-YU

10/10 Excellent
"The Hakone Ten-Yu is an amazing hotel the has everything you need for total relaxation whilst also enjoying the luxury of a top rated hotel. The hotel has a policy of making sure you are at the centre of it’s operation and obliviously prides itself on first class service form to moment you arrive at the local station (you get picked up in a courtesy bus) to the moment you leave. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by the staff and ushered in to a seat whilst we were checked in. All the information was provided and we were shown to our beautiful rooms with traditional furniture and lovely views of the valley. The room also had a great view of sunrise, as the faced eastwards. The staff were amazing. Nothing was any trouble. So polite and professional. The highlight however was the 6 course dinner that was just impeccable. Some of the best food I’ve eaten for a while. This hotel is very special and would highly recommended. 5 stars (….& more if that was possible)"

10/10 Excellent
"YuYu Hakone was such a charming escape from busy Tokyo. We loved being surrounded by the quieter, more natural side of Japan, where we could slow down and simply enjoy the experience. Our traditional room was clean, comfortable, and full of character. The onsen was easily the highlight of our stay and made the entire experience feel special. Breakfast was also a nice way to start the day, and the staff made us feel welcome. This isn't the place to stay if you're looking for the energy and convenience of central Tokyo, but that's exactly why we loved it. It gave us a chance to experience a different side of Japan, relax, enjoy nature, and recharge. A charming and memorable stay that we would happily return to."

8/10 Good
"The hôtel is wonderful! Every detail has been carefully considered and crafted using high-quality materials. The lounge, with snacks and drinks, adds to the hotel experience. Unfortunately, the dining room left us with mixed feelings regarding the dining experience. We made requests that were not honored. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the staff's attitude changed, and our dining room experience became unpleasant. It's a real shame because, although the hotel is extraordinary, I would hesitate to book again."
