Hidden Gem in Hakone — Don’t Sleep on It Asante Inn completely exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, cute, and beautifully organized, and the food was absolutely amazing. The private onsen was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring, no crowds, just pure relaxation. Access is super easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout. This place is a must, especially if you are on a tight budget, incredible value for what you get. Highly recommend! 🌿♨️

Charme et calme au coeur de la montagne

Hébergement extrêmement bien tenu. Notre chambre était spacieuse, décoration est soignée et nous avons une très belle vue sur la montagne et sur le petit jardin zen. La salle de bain partagée est très propre (3 douches et 3 lavabos). Il est possible de prendre le petit-déjeuner et le dîner sur place. L'hébergement dispose aussi d'un Onsen qui peut être privatisé.

Its a little bit of a hike going to the inn so be aware not to bring big luggages. I did read the previous review and had only my overnight bag and that helps a lot. The inn itself is pretty clean, the staff were accomodating and I was able to book the private onsen. Its a nice place to relax after a long day of walking around hakone

The Asante Inn is a beautiful small property. The staff were very kind and helpful. They provided good meals for breakfast and dinner (added charge), with many options. The staff gave us a short tour of the property when we checked in. The gardens are beautiful and the onsen was easy to reserve and very nice as well. My only complaint is the pillows are quite hard but that is a personal preference. Overall, great experience.

the staff are 5* service staff. they offered to send us back to gora station after our check out on the last day and were so nice and understanding towards us. inn was warm cozy and comfortable and the onsens were lovely too. only good praises about this inn!
