The condo, which in its pictures looked a bit dated, definitely was when we got there. So no surprise. But we were disappointed a bit by what we encountered. “We love Molokai Shores, and were so happy to stay again for the first time since 2019. This unit was great, but looked like it had been sitting since being cleaned so there was a layer of dirt in the loft bedroom area and in the closets. The main bedroom, kitchen and showers were clean as were the sheets. We will still return, just wanted to be honest about our stay. ”

“We enjoyed out stay in Molokai, and the Molokai Shores property was quite lovely. The unit itself was quite dated, but it was fine for our needs and our last-minute booking. Our only concerns were that the one bathroom area was very tight for a family of four ( including two teenage girls), plus the non-smoking rule (must be 20 feet from the property) was not enforced. “Molokai Shores is a great place to stay on Molokai, and I've stayed there a handful of times. However, this unit seemed like it had been neglected. The floors were very dirty, the chair upholstery was visibly dirty, and the kitchen cupboards had German roaches. The unit is close to the parking lot and office, but isn't one with a view, which was ok. I think with a very thorough cleaning and perhaps some updating, the unit could be more inviting. However, suited my needs for a quick work trip.”
