"Front desk lady very friendly and pleasant. Rooms was nice, but floor not very clean. Blinds didn’t cover entire patio door top to bottom, so the very bright light right outside was shining in through the bottom and glaring off the laminate floor all night, then the sun in the morning too. Outside patio door were random butt cans."
Lakeview Motel

"We stayed in the Dome and had a fantastic weekend. The Dome is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Harsha our host went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and special as possible. The hotel is in a beautiful location near lots of nice restaurants and hiking trails. As a bonus lots of very tame deer like to walk around the hotel which is great for photo opportunities. We will definitely return here!"
Somerset Lakeside Resort

"Beautiful setting and lovely accommodations. I loved that they provided life jackets and free use of kayaks, paddle boards and canoes. The kids loved the field to play games and the dock on the water was great for jumping into the lake. The frog pad was a big hit and kept them occupied! The fire in the evening was great, even though we had to put the kids to bed and didn't get to spend much time there. We did not use the restaurant, but maybe next time! We plan to return."
Sir Sam's Inn & Waterspa - Adults Only

"The Sir Sam’s inn is a charming lakefront property on Eagle Lake. While the rooms and inn itself were a little dated, this didn’t bother us much at all. We opted to stay in the inn itself rather than the suites and it was nice to be located inside the main building. The rooms don’t have air conditioning, however the ceiling and swivelling fan made the rooms comfortable enough to sleep. You do get a nice breeze from the lake at night! The amenities (paddle boards, kayak and boat tour) were all free and added to the overall experience of the inn. The restaurant option has daily specials to choose from, however it is a bit on the pricey side. I would have liked a few more basic options but I understand what they are trying to achieve with the dining experience. The staff were all great, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We will return for a trip again in the future!"

"Great location. Quiet lake. Path to the lake is a bit steep but manageable. No fuss entry to the property. Roads in were all smooth. The family had a great time."
Inn at the Falls

"We only stayed one night as a stop on a journey. We were pleasantly surprised that a continental breakfast was included although we did not use it as we had other breakfast plans. The room was clean but a bit dated. They did note they were in the midst of a renovation so I am sure things will be great when that is done. The deodorizer they sprayed was a bit too pungent but I noted that to them. All in all a fine stay."
