「Jane is friendly and sincere. We were impressed by her welcome tea while we did the check in. She actively provided advice on the choice of restaurants in the area and helped us book a table for dinner at Northern Sands. Jane and Richard are nice guys with their lovely cat, Lona. We did have a happy time there. Cheers.」

「Room was large and comfortable. Shared bathroom was unexpected, but no other guests were there at the time, so it was OK. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Senga and Ryan were very friendly. Ryan suggested where to get dinner at a local pub, within walking distance, and made a booking for us. Street parking at the house.」

「Der Aufenthalt war super. Der Zug, der viermal am Tag hinter dem Haus entlang fuhr, war eine willkommene Abwechslung. Die Stromversorgung erfolgte über einen Generator, der hörbar 24 Stunden am Tag lief. An ihn hatten wir uns schnell gewöhnt und das Geräusch, ein sonores Brummen, konnten wir schnell ausblenden. Sehr viel Landschaft, sehr wenig Menschen. Wer Einsamkeit und ein wenig Abenteuer sucht, ist dort richtig. Anreise kann nicht mit tiefergelegtem Auto erfolgen.」
