Brilliant cottage in an amazing setting

This brilliant cottage is set in an amazing natural bush area where you are not only greeted by a lovely sunset and sunrise but the local visitors are friendly and fun. The cabin itself is set over two levels with the upper level being for the bedrooms and bathroom with the lower level for a fantastic kitchen, living area and furnished balcony, complete with gas BBQ. Very high standard of both cleanliness and property maintenance throughout. Only a couple of minutes from Halls Gap this property is highly recommended. One thing to remember, get your supplies in Stawell as the options and selections in Halls Gap are limited.

We absolutely loved Wonderland Cottages! The setting surrounded by bushland was so peaceful and kangaroos on the doorstep was a lovely surprise. The cottage was larger than we expected, was clean and the log fire was very cozy on the cold evenings. We’d definitely stay here again!

Clean and great cottage but within walking distance to town. Full kitchen and feel comfortable with the place. I would recommend to stay minimum 3 nights as there are a lot to visit and see at grampian. Friendly host and knowledgeable.

Very comfortable and clean. Beautiful scenic view just outside the cottage. It was so relaxing to see Kangaroos and Cockatoos coming so close. The BBQ is awesome.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our time at Wonderland Cottages, we loved the spacious cottage, with everything needed for our stay. Located in an area that was close to amenities whilst felt like staying in the remote wilderness. In the evening sitting on the deck gave wonderful views of the stars, whilst in the morning eating breakfast with cockatiels and kangaroos in the grounds. Our regret was we only stayed one night suffice to say we will be back to this hidden gem.

The Wonderland cottages were lovely. Lots of nice touches such as basic supplies in both the kitchen and the bathroom. I also liked the effort to provide recycling and composting options. Great place to watch birds and lots of kangaroo's hopping around the grounds when we were there. Easy walk into town and other attractions if you want to leave the car behind. Would definitely recommend and we hope to visit again soon.

A wonderland

The cottages are older but are kept in good condition and exceptionaly clean. The location is beautiful and peaceful with quite a bit of wildlife around ( we had an emu at our front door.). Full kitchen, family room plenty big enough, heating and cooling. Matt & Danny friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Would recommend highly.

The location was great and the cottages fit perfectly in the surrounding bush. The hosts, who are extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the area and helpful, help to keep this place with minimal impact on the beautiful nature around them

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in der Natur

Wunderschöne Cottages nahe dem Zentrum von Halls Gap. Bereits vor der Anreise erhielten wir von den freundlichen Eigentümern hilfreiche Tipps per E- Mail und auch während des Aufenthaltes unterstützten sie uns mit vielen nützlichen Hinweisen. Sehr hilfreich, sie sprechen auch Deutsch. Die Einrichtung des Cottages war nicht mehr ganz neu, aber sehr gepflegt und blitzsauber. Die Cottages sind sehr geräumig und komfortabel, die Küchenausstattung war das Beste, was wir bei unserer bisher 6-wöchigen Reise gefunden haben. An vielen kleinen Details merkt man, dass die Eigentümer die Cottages mit Liebe betreiben. Die Umgebung ist zudem traumhaft, Känguruhs und Kakadus fanden sich täglich bei unserem Cottage ein. Wir waren total begeistert und können die Wonderland Cottages nur sehr empfehlen.
