"Great transport links nearby. Hotel and room was pretty grimy and run down, but it suited for a couple of nights. Smallest room I’ve ever stayed in - but I’m stocky and 6ft. Overall passable. Also ended up with a smoking room which I didn’t ask for, so it was a bit smelly at first. "

"Our stay at Risonare was awful from start to finish. When we arrived they told us there would be a significant extra fee for our 1-year-old to stay with us (I was pretty sure we booked the reservation with a child included, but regardless, this is the only hotel out of 6 that we stayed at in Japan that charged extra for a child under 2 years old). The room was advertised as a 4-bed room but when we got to the room the 4th bed did not have sheets on it, and we were told there would be a charge...

"Fantastic breakfast service! I already miss the Japanese breakfasts with the variety. This hotel is extremely convenient. The Izumiotsu subway station is a short 4 minute walk away and the supermarket is only 3 minutes. The supermarket has a fantastic selection of ready-to-eat choices. Also, there is a Mr Donut and a McDonalds at the base of the hotel. There are several places to eat besides these around the subway station (Nankai). "This was my 3rd timing staying at this hotel. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is always very clean. The location is amazing and is a short walk from public transportation (buses and subway). Very convenient!!"
