“Our short time at Avocet key was extremely enjoyable and left us completely refreshed and relaxed. The accommodation was very clean and fantastically equipped to a very high standard. The view out onto the wetland pond was constantly changing as we were entertained by a pair of Swans and other water birds, and even a passing fox. We enjoyed the walking options in the surrounding area and the good quality eating options. The availability of the 700 Bus to Portsmouth and Chichester enabled us to……

“Fantastic property, clean and well furnished. Bathrooms were modern and spotless. Enought space for the 6 of us that stayed with good access to local amenities. We would definitely stay again. My only criticism is arriving in the dark it was difficult to find and the outside light was not working for visualising the staircase from street level.”

“House is lovely and was very clean and welcoming. There were issues with a rusty barbecue and a faulty freezer but I'm sure those matters will be resolved for future guests. I was offered recompense for wasted food if appropriate (not necessary).Happy to recommend.”

“The property was in a fantastic location, with excellent views. The pair of little grebes on the pond were a joy to watch. The property was within easy reach of the town centre, which has much to offer. The property was clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The sofa was not comfortable if you have the slightest back issue (style over function), but we didn't spend that much time on it. We enjoyed the balcony, and peace and quiet of the location. We will be back!”

“The room was clean, and a great location in Southsea. A few small issues: the TV stopped working on our last morning, the bath had not been used and the water ran yellow, but the shower was fine. A cloth to do the washing up would have been of use. Overall the room was a great base for our weekend away.”

“A beautifully appointed cottage with excellent facilities was perfect for our weekend break. More than a home from home! Comfort was downgraded from excellent to good as the beds are small doubles and the mattresses uncomfortable which was not ideal for us.”

“We loved our stay at Millside it had everything you needed. We had problems with the tv when we arrived but that was soon sorted by the lovely owner. Great to have the little extras like milk & bread left for us and soap etc supplied. Great for watching the wildlife in the garden, rabbits woodpeckers and the resident hedgehog who crossed the garden every evening going foraging. Only an 8 minute walk to The Bosham Inn for Great food.”
