Everything was as advertised. The staff were very friendly and helpful! It's a hostel so not a ton of luxury but everything you need if you just need a place to sleep and shower :)

The hostel is easy to access from the airport. The bus station is close and a supermarket is nearby. But on the other hand, if you are not travelling by car, there are not many choices for food nearby.

Very compact but sufficiently comfortable and facilities in good shape. Would like to have darker window shutters and a water boiler at the room. Could not find the switch for the main light. Friendly staff.

Clean; very friendly staff; for check-in and check-out no direct contact with front desk needed but works very well; simple accommodation; affordable; shared toilet is very clean; when other guests walk down the hall it can be a bit noisy, so bring ear-plugs if you are noise sensitive; I did not book breakfast (8,50€ until 9:30 AM) but it looked and smelled nice from a distance; public transport and supermarkets are in short walking distance; recommended for the budget traveler!

Nice spot for a couple of days

The check in process was easy and the room was neat. The beds, though small, were comfortable. A shared bathroom means 2 toilets for women (and separate wc for men) at the end of the hall. The hotel is close to bus stops. To get to the center of Hamburg a bus and a train are required. A few restaurants are within walking distance.

Not very comfortable

Reception was closed when we arrived, but self check in worked fine. Beds were hard and not very comfortable. Woke up several times from people coming and leaving and noise from the cleaning staff early in the morning. Not the best night’s sleep.

Comfortable and Reliable

I feel very comfortable and had good sleep at night, very calm and noise free place and also cleanliness. Just one thing I want to mention about there is no attach bath in the room. It’s a separate on a different side. All in all I am satisfied with the stay.

If you are looking for an affordable and clean place to stay away from the city center, the Aracade Hostel is a great option. It is located off a main road, but I didn't notice any noise (other than from the family next door.) The bed was also very comfortable! I took a taxi to and from the airport and it was about 27 euro each way and took less than 20 minutes.
