“Great sunset views”

“Wish she could of called me that night when we got there.”

“Beautiful and clean Home. Host was very accommodating.”

“Can't check in”

“This was a 150+ year old pioneer home, with period-appropriate furnishings. The kitchen has been updated to modern appliances. The bathrooms are also updated. The bedrooms have comfortable beds for getting a good night’s sleep. It is located in a pioneer-era historic area. If you want restaurants nearby, or boutique shopping, forget it. Go with the pioneer atmosphere and experience the location and history. It may give you a whole new outlook about how our ancestors lived.”

“This was the most magical stay we have ever experienced. There wasn’t one detail that didn’t go untouched. Clearly a creative genius designed this. If you want to give your family the ultimate fantasy vacation we highly recommend this place. The hosts responded immediately to any concerns. The only thing missing was a home cooked Hobbit meal”

“Well decorated and clean. Comfy bed. Close to city attractions.”

“The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It is in an older home but has been recently updated with just enough original parts left intact. We will stay here again.”

“Historic Nauvoo. What a neat little town. Everyone was extremely friendly. The property is good value for the money. If you park on the Main Street, it’s easy to find. The alleyway from the front is level concrete and well lit. We parked in back as we were instructed. It was a little confusing at first, until I reread the instructions. The concrete alleyway from the back is uneven and not as well lit. But the town is a safe one, so security is already felt. The stairs to the upper apts……

“Enjoyed our stay!”

“To be very honest the property is not what I expected from the listing. However, after getting settled in and the excellent communication with the host, the 6-week stay was very pleasant. The host was wonderful and checked on us on a regular basis. Host was very quick to fix any issues and was also very quick in all responses. They made us feel welcome. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to someone who is looking for a reasonably priced home to……

“Perfect for our needs!”

“Great view of the train station and Mississippi River.”

“The air conditioning was not adequate to keep the temperature comfortable. We ran all the window units the whole time we were there, and I don't think the temperature was ever below 80 degrees. If you were sleeping right under the A/C, it was ok, but otherwise it was pretty sweaty. We were pretty dissatisfied with the temperature. Granted, it was cooler than outside, but it wasn't great.”

“Worked out for what we needed”

“What a unique house and has a wonderful view to enjoy!!”

“Beautiful country location! Comfortable and spacious for our bigger family. When our I usual code didn’t work to get into the house Laura responded quickly and got us a new code that worked! We enjoyed our time there”
