Staff member on reception was not welcoming or friendly. Was abrupt and rude and I felt like I had to work for already paying to stay. I had driven 830 miles today and to be greeted this way was poor form. She was sitting down at the guest area relaxing when I came in and basically hated the fact I was there. Ive worked in hotels most of my life and currently own and operate small hospitality venues in NY so understand the importance of whats a stake. The venue itself is nice but the lady on service needs to be reminded of her role.

Pay more and stay elsewhere
I reserved a room several weeks before my stay. When I checked in, the clerk was first too busy on her phone in the lounge area, and then when she meandered over to check me in, no apology for the wait. I was assigned a room behind/beside the elevator, so all night I had to listen to that. The HVAC unit in the window/wall was very noisy, with two options - noisy fan continually running (with the accompanying drying out of sinuses), or noisily kicking on and off all night. With that noise as well as the useless pillows (too soft to use only one, too tall when piled), I got very little sleep. I would recommend paying more and staying somewhere else.

My stay was an ok stay for the most part I stayed the whole weekend Friday to Sunday. My second day there and my room didn’t get clean while I was gone. And today once I checked out I walked out to my front license plate on the ground someone hit my car inside the hotel parking lot and they did not accommodate me for it. Overall rate 7.5

Old and worn out - bed was super uncomfortable. Staff were nice, but there are a few other hotels right next door that look newer. Wish we had booked one of those instead!

The hotel is basically on the middle of the highway. Terrible location. Bleak, dingy, gross. The front desk person was unhelpful at best. A group of my family was in different rooms for a funeral. My parent’s room had ripped curtains and a dirty toilet. My room had a dirty toilet. My sister’s room had mold in the shower. The halls reek of cigarette smoke. Marriott needs to remove this hotel from its portfolio

Checked in late. The machine that had the food, had empty boxes. This was disappointing although we did find something else suitable to eat. This was a minor problem. Overall, the stay was extremely satiffactory

We were in town for a concert at the Hard Rock and this hotel was a quick choice for price and looks. Jackie was the staff member who checked us in and was amazing! Breakfast fit our needs and it was relatively quiet for a hotel off the highway and on a Friday night. Will definitely stay again if ever in the area!

Poorly Maintained Hotel
I am surprised of the level of stars this hotel has. Our room had torn drapery, a poorly operational toilet, patch work wall paper, a bed that was improperly affixed to a twin size frame, cracked lamp shade, tile that did not adhere to the wall, it just seemed like the management was at a place where they just did not care any more. When I walked into the hotel to see the cluttered front desk and associates eating their meals and texting at the front counter, I suspected that the quality of the hotel would likely match what was seen. On a good note, the towels and bedding were clean and the Heat and AC were operational

Entering from parking lot the property seemed a little sketchy but once inside it was very nice and the receptionist was exceptionally kind to my son and I. Breakfast was good, plenty of choices. I was extra pleased that there was oatmilk to go with my oatmeal as I'm allergic to dairy.

The staff including housekeeping were excellent. I was able to check in a bit earlier which I was grateful for as I was very tired. All bedding was fresh and clean. My room 221 was well kept and the carpeting was cleaned to perfection. However, there was a smell coming from the air conditioner. The filters were clean but the air conditioner itself emitted a bad smell so I did not use it. I could use the bath but not the shower. It did not work. This was a handicapped-equipped room. There is mold under the shower chair and I believe mold is the problem in the air conditioner. Please check as mold spores should not be inhaled. Breakfast was very good and served hot. Please check for mold, especially in my room and also the pool room. The staff were helpful and friendly and this made my stay comfortable and worthwhile.

The whole staff was just sitting in a group when we came in. Wasn’t much communication- just handed the girl my credit card and she swiped it for $210.00 (not sure where that number came from). Left about 1/2 later and staff was once again sitting in a group. Got an email saying bill was $189.28 but still says $210.00
