- THE GRAPE ESCAPE is a cozy & peaceful one room cabin overlooking Keuka Lake. Conveniently located 1/2 mile up the hill from Hammondsport. Located on Finger Lakes Wine Trail / Brew Trail. Private outhouse (composting toilet) and outdoor private shower. Clean and setup for couples. OFF THE GRID Glamping at it's finest! NO Electricity or running water, however we have unique options to accommodate a comfortable stay. Please Note: NO LINENS / PILLOWS / TOWELS are provided.

Nice doggies welcome. Nestled on its own 2 very private acres below our home.

The rustic, snug, and clean cabin, with its relaxing location on a tree-covered hill overlooking Keuka Lake, is our go-to getaway. The Hopkins, as ever, are wonderful hosts - we look forward to our next visit.

We had an amazing stay in Hammondsport. The cabin had everything you could think of and more! The view was amazing. The downtown and many wineries, breweries and distilleries were very close by which made for a great weekend escape!

We had a lovely stay at the Grape Escape. While it is truly roughing it, all our needs were met and the host was easy to contact if we needed anything. Hammondsport was an awesome town, with nice options for food, drinks, and vibes. Great food everywhere we tried, but Portside Bistro was our favorite.

Lovely stay. Cabin is adorable, clean, with a gorgeous view. Dave and Joann were very helpful as hosts and checked in to make sure we didn’t need anything.

We had the absolute BEST time here! The entire surrounding area is so beautiful with many opportunities to do things- and almost everywhere is dog-friendly! It was super easy and fun to bring our dog. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous and so many different accommodations to make a great stay. The hosts are wonderful and will truly do anything the guests. We highly recommended and can’t wait to go back!

Terrific way to unplug for a couple of days! This is a great way to go camping if you don’t want to haul a camper or bring a text. We went in late May and the weather was perfect. Cool at night and peasant during the day. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch and the Adirondack chairs on the deck by the fire pit. We stopped by Bully Run Winery and Museum. Perfect place to sample wine, learn about Finger Lakes wine history, and buy some wine for the campfire. Everything was clean and easy to use, including the outhouse and “hobbit” shower room.
