“We got there and all the sheets and towels were still in a pile by the washer. No detergent for washing. Dirty dishes in the sink. No toilet paper in the bathroom. Rotting food in the fridge and the host didn’t reply to my messages. When I tried to call it wasn’t their number, just the Vrbo customer service line. They weren’t able to get ahold of them either so we had to just leave. ”

“The house is cute but very small. In the pictures it looks bigger, also the stairs to the second floor are very steep and narrow so not ideal for older people. The house was also not clean very well. We found a dirty sweater and half full bottle of water in one of the rooms, a chewed dog bone full of hair in the living room couch, a bloom stain in one of the beds and there were also a few hair balls on the kitchen floor. If cleaned properly is not that bad.”

“Marlene’s cabin is in a perfect spot to get out and experience all the Berkshires has to offer. East Barrington not far south and North Adams a short drive to the north. There is nothing Marlene did not think of to make your stay a good one. Everything you would need is available in the cabin. The kitchen is perfect for enjoying some home cooked meals. My wife and I spent most of our days out and about but it was nice to come back to the cozy and quiet cabin. I highly recommend a stay here.”
