Cozy Hampton Bays getaway!

Welcome to our Home! This piece of paradise is in the lower level/basement of our beautiful home in the Hamptons on a quiet residential area in Hampton Bays. The lower level of our home has a separate entrance, kitchen table for 4, kitchenette and a cozy living room area with a large TV. There are 2 rooms and an exercise room with 2 spin bikes and yoga mats. Your own washer/dryer and full bathroom. We are close to the restaurants (Rumba and Cowfish), and bars. We are 4 minutes to Meschutt Beach (Bay) and 9 minutes to all the beaches on Dune Road. Close to shopping, Vineyards and 24 minutes to Tanger outlets in Riverhead. We are close to the Family-friendly Red Creek Skate Park where you can hike, play on the playground, play basketball, skate or play pickle ball! This is a great getaway for any season!

Great location

We had activities in both Southampton and Westhampton Beach so the location for both was excellent. Laurie called to ask if we needed anything. The space was very clean and perfect for our stay.

Adorable place, but not cozy :: Basement midnight blues

Our first time to the Hampton area. We were celebrating our last family vaca before taking our daughter to college. This place is cute and caught our eye. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience as others have noted. In all the many, many years I have used VRBO I have had excellent experiences, until now. Sadly, I tried to resolve with the owner Laurie direct- no answer and so I will post of our experience here as an FYI to others. Travelers: Husband, two daughters [20,18] and I. Our first priority when we are away is SLEEP and safety. There were several issues that impeded our ability to sleep during our stay. -Main bed Queen 6“ Amazon mattress- stiff as a board [Laurie did provide a topper for the last night- much better] -Outdoor security light was just outside of bedroom windows went on/off all night- causing us to wake [made her aware- nothing changed]. We can turn ours off from our phone. -Warm and stuffy- no airflow. AC controlled in the main house. -Late night midnight - 1am loud entrances in the main house above woke us every night. Loud steps and conversations continued- without regard for paying guests below. When I texted the concern they got louder and provocative. Getting ready in the morning it would have been nice to have another mirror somewhere so others could get ready while one was showering. New bath towels would be nice- towels were old, thin, stained, and a mildew smell. If those things don't bother you- the location is great!

Great location and cool stay

Our stay here was exactly what we needed! The location is safe and the unit had two spacious rooms with one bathroom. There was even an exercise room! I would recommend this stay. One thing to mention is that there is only one thermostat which is in the house upstairs (the unit is kind of like a basement under a main house), so you won’t be able to control the AC temperature and it does get a little chilly. But there are blankets provided for those that need them. Also, if the owners are home, you can hear a lot of the noise from downstairs but this will not be too bad if you’re out and about all day. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay here again!
