“Upon arriving we were greeted so graciously by the two girls from Pennsylvania I have misplaced their names in my head everything was a bit available the chocolates the lovely cookies the coffee the wine bar the room was beautiful the beds were lovely we had a stellar time and will definitely be back thanks again Hornsby house and we sure did enjoy ourselves”

“The historical significance of this property is reason alone to visit. George Washington's great grandfather established a plantation there in 1642. While original buildings were burned, the owners have restored according to drawings and records. There's a cemetery on property with graves from 1600s. Attention to service was outstanding and personal.”

“My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baywood on the Bay. Sharon was very helpful in getting us settled and suggested restaurants that were open even though it was the beginning of off season. The view from the bedroom was breathtaking and the soaking tub was so nice after hiking around Kiptopeak State Park and Cape Charles. The breakfast was hot and very delicious.”
