"This is a hidden gem. The oldest hotel in Kauai built in 1890. Moved to current location 1969. The location is hidden but very quiet. The rooms are huge and the cleanest of any hotel that I have ever stayed in near a beach. The included breakfast is continental but with most choices I ever had, including lots of fresh fruit, breads, rolls, and cereals. A selection of high in coffee. All in all a quite very desirable place to stay. PS: the hotel John Wayne and crew stayed in while filming Donovan’s Reef."

"The hotel is newly renovated. Foods and cocktails at the bar are good. Our room is very clean. The staff at the check out was not so nice. And no receipt was provided after couple months of check out."

"The views from this home were incredible! Steve was wonderful to work with. The beach below the home had lots of debris but this was probably from the storm. We loved our time in Kauai."

"Outstanding beachfront and mountain views. Very clean. The home was amongst our most favorite aspects of the trip. We loved the open views, the breeze from the windows, the sounds of the ocean, and overlooking the beach from the back porch. It was a cozy wooden home, amid frequent short rain showers, and warm, sunny skies."
